    • Report: Cubs could trade Hoerner, Belly, and more
According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, the Chicago Cubs “are preparing for a potential sale, with [Cody] Bellinger, Jameson Taillon and Nico Hoerner expected to draw interest.”

Advice: Nightengale also notes that the Cubs have not yet decided if they will sell at the deadline or not, but they are listening to offers for the three players listed above. Taillon is in the midst of a solid season despite not bringing a lot of strikeout value for fantasy and could see a boost with a better team context, while Nico Hoerner could see a boost to his fantasy stock as well if he is traded to a team that will let him steal more regularly. • Productive as in-game replacement
Moore entered Sunday's extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays as a pinch runner in the eighth inning and remained in the game in left field, going 1-for-1 with a single and a stolen base.

Advice: Moore was able to leg out an infield single in the 10th inning and then was part of a double steal with Ryan Bliss, but the pair was ultimately stranded by a J.P. Crawford popup and Cal Raleigh flyout that ended the game. Moore had started the first two games of the series and three of the last four games overall, and Sunday marked his third straight game with a single. However, Moore hasn't been making as much impactful contact as usual lately, as he has just one extra-base hit (a triple), in his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Today, 8:15 am

    • Launches game-tying homer
Springer went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run during Sunday's 5-4 win over Seattle in 10 innings.

Advice: Springer came through for the Blue Jays, knotting the game at 4-4 in the seventh inning with a three-run home run off Ryne Stanek. The outfielder has led off in each of his last four starts, batting 5-for-14 with five runs scored, four walks and three strikeouts. On the year, Springer owns a .672 OPS, which would be a career worst if it stands. Rotowire.com Today, 12:52 am

    • Generates another quality start
Kirby didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk over six-plus innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Kirby posted a sixth straight quality start and left the contest having allowed just one run. However, he left a pair of runners on the basepaths, both of which came in to score on a George Springer home run to finalize Kirby's earned run total at three. Kirby is tied for the 10th most quality starts in baseball and ranks top-10 in innings pitched with 111.2. He owns a 3.39 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP along with an outstanding 109:11 K:BB on the year. He's scheduled to face the Angels next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 12:51 am

    • Goes deep off bench
Naylor went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Naylor didn't start the contest, but he pinch hit for Austin Hedges with two on and two outs in the sixth inning. That proved to be a smart move from manager Stephen Vogt, as Naylor delivered a go-ahead homer, his first long ball since June 22. The catcher hasn't flashed a ton of power this year with five homers and a .338 slugging percentage over 64 contests. He's added two stolen bases, 23 RBI, 23 runs scored, nine doubles and a triple while batting .205 on the season. Despite going hitless in seven of his last 11 games, he continues to see a majority of playing time behind the plate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:15 pm

    • George Springer blasts three-run homer as Jays win
George Springer continued his hot hitting in Sunday’s extra-inning 5-4 victory over the Mariners, going 1-for-5 with a three-run homer.

Advice: Springer turned the game on its head and started the comeback for the Jays, crushing a game-tying 400-foot (106.9 mph EV) three-run homer off of Ryne Stanek in the seventh inning that knotted things up at 4-4. That would be his only hit on the night but played a critical role in the come-from-behind victory. On the season, the 34-year-old outfielder is now slashing .221/.311/.361 with 10 homers and 31 RBI. • George Kirby posts quality start in no-decision
George Kirby logged a quality start in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon, giving up three runs on seven hits over his six-plus frames.

Advice: The right-hander racked up eight strikeouts on the day while allowing only one base on balls. The Jays scratched out a run against him in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Alejandro Kirk. Kirby then allowed a pair of singles to start the seventh inning before turning the ball over to the bullpen — and both runs ultimately scored. The 26-year-old hurler got 16 swings and misses on 93 pitches in the contest — 10 of those on his heater — while posting a strong CSW of 33 percent. He’ll look to finish his first half strong as he brings a 3.39 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 109/11 K/BB ratio (111 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Angels in Los Angeles. • Naylor has huge pinch-hit home run
Bo Naylor went 1-for-2 with a pinch-hit three-run home run in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Naylor was called on to hit for Austin Hedges in the sixth inning with the Guardians trailing 3-2. He responded with a 378-foot home run that gave the Guardians a lead they would never give up. The 24-year-old is hitting just .205 on the season with five home runs, so he’ll need to do this a little more often to get back on the fantasy radar. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:52 pm

    • Getting mental day off
Garcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: According to Kennedi Landry of MLB.com, manager Bruce Bochy said that Garcia isn't dealing with an injury and is getting "more of a mental day than a physical day" as the Rangers wrap up their series with the Rays. Travis Jankowski will occupy right field in place of Garcia, who has gone hitless over 10 at-bats in his last three starts to bring his season-long batting average down to .215.
