      Devers went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Yankees.

      Advice: With the game tied going into the seventh, Devers broke through with a solo home run the opposite way to put the Red Sox out in front. He then admired a no-doubter 423-foot blast off Michael Tonkin in the ninth to make it a 3-0 ballgame. With his two-homer performance, Devers now has seven long balls in his last 10 games at Yankee Stadium and moved into a tie with David Ortiz for the fifth-most home runs at Yankee Stadium as a visiting player (16). He hasn't just been hot against the Yankees, however. Over his last 11 games, Devers is slashing .405/.479/.976 with seven homers, 16 RBI, 13 runs and a 6:11 BB:K. He's putting together another extremely productive campaign with one more week before the All-Star break and is currently slashing .293/.378/.593 with 21 homers, 55 RBI, 56 runs and a 40:79 BB:K in 336 plate appearances.       Cease (7-8) took the loss Sunday against the Diamondbacks, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out eight over seven innings.

      Advice: All three runs scored against Cease came from the long ball. Corbin Carroll opened up the game with a solo home run and then Eugenio Suarez put the Diamondbacks ahead with a two-run blast in the seventh. Cease has now given up four homers over his last two starts and has given up 14 in 14 starts dating back to April 27. He has a 5.11 ERA over that span, though that also comes with an elite 11.7 K/9.       Advice: Witt clubbed his 15th home run of the season, taking Ty Blach yard for a three-run homer in the ninth inning.       Rafael Devers blasted a pair of solo home runs on Sunday night, powering the Red Sox to a 3-0 victory and a series win over the Yankees in New York.

      Advice: With the two bitter rivals mired in a scoreless tie heading to the seventh inning, Devers finally broke through as he lined a 2-2 fastball from Luis Gil over the wall in left-center for a 373-foot (103.8 mph EV) solo shot. He then crushed a 423-foot (107.0 mph EV) bomb off of Michael Tonkin in the ninth that made it 3-0. The 27-year-old All-Star third baseman also singled in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-4.       Arenado went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Arenado continues his hot stretch at the plate with his third consecutive game of two or more hits. It's the second time this season he's put together a streak of three straight multi-hits, each of which has come over his last 22 appearances. He also picked up an RBI in consecutive games after a stretch where he only had two RBI in his last 14 games.       Dylan Cease yielded three runs in seven innings Sunday in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: The runs came on longballs from two players who had totaled two and six homers while serving as regulars all year long. He’s given up 14 homers in his last 14 starts, resulting in a 5.11 ERA even though he has an impressive 103/22 K/BB ratio in 79 1/3 innings over that span.       Bobby Witt Jr. was named to his first American League All-Star team on Sunday.

      Advice: It’s the first of what should be many All-Star nominations for the 24-year-old superstar shortstop. Witt has been outstanding this season, slashing .324/.372/.564 with 15 homers, 61 RBI, 72 runs scored and 22 stolen bases. He’ll be joined on the American League squad by fellow reserves Salvador Perez, Carlos Correa, Rafael Devers, Marcus Semien, Kyle Tucker, Josh Naylor, Isaac Paredes, Jarren Duran, Riley Greene and David Fry.       Diaz (3-1) got the win during Sunday's 3-2 victory over the Pirates but also blew the save. He did not allow a run on one hit, one walk and one strikeout over 1.1 innings.

      Advice: With the Mets leading 1-0, Diaz entered the game with two outs in the eighth and allowed a walk and the go-ahead hit. After Francisco Lindor gave his team the lead, Diaz came back out and pitched a clean ninth to pick up his third win. The 30-year-old returned from his 10-game suspension on Saturday, and he picked up the save.
