Advice: Rengifo singled in his second trip to the plate before swiping his 21st bag of the season and later coming home to score the Angels' first run of the contest. The third baseman added another single in the seventh before coming around to score for a second time, giving him his fourth consecutive multi-hit game as well as his fourth straight game with at least one run scored. Rengifo has really come alive on offense as of late, batting .325 (13-for-40) over his last 10 contests with two homers, four RBI, three stolen bases and nine runs scored. Advice: It’s been a trying first half for Rodríguez, who went hitless during Saturday’s losing effort despite a scalding a 102-mph line-drive off Twins starter Pablo López in the third inning that went for a lineout. The 23-year-old franchise cornerstone’s latest hitless performance drops his full-season batting average back down to a pedestrian .248 mark. The even more problematic development for fantasy purposes is that he’s gone deep just seven times this season, with nearly half of those coming over his last 30 games. Luis Rengifo collects 21st steal in Angels’ winLuis Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a stolen base on Saturday in the Angels’ extra-inning victory over the Tigers.
Advice: Rengifo continues to excel as an extremely versatile under-the-radar fantasy contributor as he’s recorded a strong .808 OPS with six homers and 21 stolen bases through 66 games. The 21 thefts are a new career-high mark by a considerable margin as he’s running at a rate we certainly weren’t projecting coming into the year. Ian Happ swats go-ahead two-run homer vs. CubsIan Happ went 1-for-2 while hitting a go-ahead two-run homer to help the Cubs to a 5-3 win over the Brewers on Saturday.
Advice: With the score tied at 3-3, Happ blistered a homer to right-center with Seiya Suzuki on board to give the Cubs the two-run lead and ultimately the victory. It’s the second big roundtripper for Happ in three days, as he hit a go-ahead homer in the 10th against San Francisco on Thursday. Advice: Rengifo got things started with a two-run shot in the first inning. It was his sixth of the year and the first time this season he's gone deep in two straight games. He's produced four multi-hit performances in his last five games, boosting his season OPS from .770 to .808 in the process. Advice: Rengifo gave the Angels a 2-0 lead in the first inning with a two-run swat off Kenta Maeda.
