He previously had a 379-foot double off Sean Manaya, but he hadn’t hit anything else over 350 feet in 142 plate appearances. The shortstop is slashing .280/.341/.364 with no home runs, seven steals, eight RBI and 11 runs scored over 38 contests on the year. It's unclear if Winn will continue to get looks at leadoff, but his speed and contact abilities likely make him a better option there than Matt Carpenter or Brendan Donovan, at least against southpaws.       Advice: Winn gets a shot in the leadoff spot for the first time this season following a pair of multi-hit performances. The 22-year-old is off to a nice start this season, batting .283/.346/.372 with zero homers and six steals in 129 plate appearances. The lack of over-the-fence pop so far is a concern, but the on-base skills have been there.
