    Advice: Doyle was unable to extend a modest five-game hitting streak, but he was still impactful by tallying his eighth stolen base of the year. He's also stolen a base in each of his last four games, displaying a significant increase in aggressiveness on the basepaths.     Advice: France provided a pair of insurance runs with his two-run, eighth-inning blast that doubled Seattle's lead from two to four. The long ball was his first since April 27, and during the 13-game homerless stretch he had batted just .191 with a 2:15 BB:K. France's offensive numbers are down across the board this season, with a significant contributing factor being a 24.3 percent strikeout rate that is on pace for his worst mark since his 2019 rookie campaign.     Munoz earned a save against the Royals on Monday, striking out three batters in 1.1 perfect innings.

    Advice: Munoz was summoned from the bullpen in the top of the eighth inning with two outs, Seattle up by two runs and the tying run at the plate. He struck out Nelson Velazquez to end the threat, then got some stress reduction when the Mariners' offense put up two runs in the bottom of the frame. From there, Munoz closed things out without incident, fanning two of the three batters he squared off against in the ninth frame. The save was his sixth of the season and first since April 30, though no other Seattle pitcher recorded a save in the meantime. Munoz has looked great since his lone blown save of the campaign April 21, tossing 9.1 scoreless frames during which he's posted a 10:1 K:BB across eight appearances.     Advice: France turned a 4-2 cushion into a 6-2 lead with a two-run shot in the eighth inning. The infielder hasn’t hit for much power in 2024, but that does give him three homers and 13 RBI.   • Andrés Muñoz strikes out three in four-out save
    Andrés Muñoz struck out three while going 1 1/3 scoreless innings Monday to get a save against the Royals.

    Advice: The Mariners won this game by four runs, but because the right-hander came in with the score 4-2, he still gets credit for the save. That’s the sixth of the season for the 25-year-old, and he’s lowered his ERA to an aesthetically pleasing 1.62 in the process.     Reynaldo López tossed five scoreless innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

    Advice: López certainly would’ve gone deeper into the contest, but he was lifted for precautionary reasons following just 71 pitches (50 strikes) after his back tightened up on him. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern with Braves manager Brian Snitker telling reporters afterwards that he doesn’t expect him to miss his next start. The 30-year-old righty will bring a stellar 1.34 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 40/16 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings (seven starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Padres. Rotoworld Monday, 7:45 pm
