    • Scratched Friday with illness
Drury was scratched from the Angels' lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Dodgers due to an illness, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Advice: After being scratched from Wednesday's lineup due to an illness, Drury was set to return to action Friday following the team's off day Thursday. The illness appears to have lingered around, however, and Drury will sit out for at least one more game. Michael Stefanic will start at second base and bat eighth against Dodgers right-hander Landon Knack, per Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register. Rotowire.com Today, 4:52 pm

    • Brandon Drury (illness) scratched again on Friday
Brandon Drury was scratched from the Angels’ starting lineup once again on Friday night due to illness.

Advice: Drury was scratched from the team’s lineup on Wednesday due to illness as well. The Angels had been hopeful that he would return to the lineup on Friday night, but he was still feeling a bit under the weather. He’s still considered day-to-day and could return to the lineup as early as Saturday. Rotoworld Today, 4:45 pm

    • Returns to lineup
Drury (illness) is batting sixth and playing second base Friday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Drury was a late scratch Wednesday due to illness but after a team day off Thursday, he's feeling good enough to play. The second baseman is 1-for-6 since returning from the IL on Monday and owns a .469 OPS on the year. Rotowire.com Today, 3:48 pm

    • Still limited to small-side platoon
McCormick went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: The 29-year-old was in the lineup because Houston was facing lefty Garrett Crochet, though McCormick remains in the small side of a platoon with Trey Cabbage in right field. As a result, McCormick has started only six of the team's last 10 games, during which he's hit .250 with one home run, five RBI and five runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:57 am

    • Ekes out quality start Wednesday
Pfaadt (3-6) took the loss Wednesday, giving up three runs on five hits and four walks over 6.1 innings as the Diamondbacks fell 3-1 to the Nationals. He failed to strike out a batter.

Advice: To say the 25-year-old right-hander wasn't fooling anyone Wednesday would be an understatement. Pfaadt not only came up empty in strikeouts while issuing a season high in walks, he didn't generate a single swinging strike among his 77 pitches. He was still able to produce enough weak contact to deliver his second straight quality start and eighth of the season, however. Pfaadt will take a 4.37 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 84:22 K:BB through 90.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Twins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:11 am
    • Collects two hits, stolen base
Langford went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base in a 5-3 victory versus the Mets on Wednesday.

Advice: Langford logged an RBI on a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch in the first inning and added a run-scoring single in the sixth. The rookie finished with his sixth multi-hit effort in June and pushed his batting average up to .288 on the month. That's a nice improvement after Langford batted just .222 coming into June, and the added hits have helped him become more of a run producer. Of Langford's 24 RBI on the season, 11 have come across his 16 contests this month. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:43 pm

    • Takes fifth loss
Ragans (4-5) allowed two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings to take the loss Wednesday versus the Athletics.

Advice: Ragans rattled off his fourth straight quality start, but he's still winless over his last five outings. The four walks were a season high for the southpaw, but it was still a decent performance for him despite the end result. He's maintained a 3.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 109:30 K:BB through 92 innings over 16 starts this season. Ragans is projected to make his next start at home versus the Marlins in a favorable matchup. • Cole Ragans strikes out seven in loss to A’s
Cole Ragans allowed two runs with seven strikeouts over six innings in a loss to the Athletics on Wednesday.

Advice: Ragans worked around three hits through two scoreless innings before the A’s brought a pair of runs in to score on two walks and two singles in the third. Ragans settled in to toss three more scoreless innings, striking out seven before his day was done. He took the loss as the Royals scored just one run in the contest. The 26-year-old left-hander will take a 3.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and a 109/30 K/BB ratio across 92 innings into a start against the Marlins in Kansas City on Monday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:22 pm

    • Goes deep in win
Happ went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Giants.

Advice: Happ has been on a heater recently, as he now has five straight two-hit performances. The outfielder has gone deep three times during the hot streak, giving him nine home runs for the season. Happ won't be able to stay this locked in forever, though fantasy managers should enjoy the production while it lasts. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:24 pm
