    • Emmanuel Clase silences O’s to net 25th save
Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday against the Orioles to record his 25th save of the season.

Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning at Camden Yards and managed to work around a one-out double from pinch-hitter Cedric Mullins to notch another save. The hard-throwing 26-year-old stopper has picked up four saves in the last week alone as Cleveland continues stringing together victories. Rotoworld Today, 6:27 pm
    • Posts 16th save
Megill earned a save against Texas on Monday, striking out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Megill hit a batter with two outs in his inning of work, but it didn't cost him any runs. The right-hander was able to notch his 10th straight successful save conversion -- he hasn't blown an opportunity since May 20. Megill has proven to be a more-than-adequate fill-in for rehabbing closer Devin Williams (back), as he's tied for eighth in MLB with 16 saves (in 17 opportunities) while posting a 1.85 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB through 24.1 innings. • Trevor Megill records 16th save for Brewers
Trevor Megill was perfect in the ninth in earning his 16th save Monday against the Rangers.

Advice: Remember when it was Abner Uribe and then Joel Payamps getting saves for the Brewers. Megill didn’t earn his first until Apr. 25, so all 16 of his have come in a two-month span. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Fans eight in no-decision
Bradley came away with a no-decision Monday against Seattle, allowing one earned run on two hits and four walks while striking out eight over 5.1 innings.

Advice: The only run given up by Bradley came on a fourth-inning home run by Cal Raleigh. The right-hander yielded just two hits, but the four walks are a season worst, and he has now walked multiple batters in six of his past seven starts. The 23-year-old has an excellent 10.8 K/9 (91st percentile), but he will need to minimize free passes to stay consistent. On the season, Bradley has recorded a 3.81 ERA, a 1.15 WHIP and a 61:18 K:BB over 49.2 innings. His next start is currently scheduled for this weekend against Washington. • Taj Bradley whiffs eight on Monday in no-decision
Taj Bradley struck out eight and allowed one run over 5 1/3 innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Mariners.

Advice: Bradley carried a shutout into the fourth inning on Monday night at Tropicana Field before coughing up a solo homer to Cal Raleigh, which represented the lone tally against him in this one. He induced 12 swinging strikes, including seven on his splitter alone, and finished with a solid 30 percent CSW. The 23-year-old youngster has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four consecutive outings since getting crushed for nine runs by the division-rival Orioles back on June 1. He’ll aim to keep the momentum going on Sunday in an extremely favorable matchup against the Nationals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:41 pm

    • Notches 24th save
Clase pitched a scoreless inning, allowing a hit and walk while striking out a batter on his way to a save in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Clase was called upon to protect a 6-5 lead in the top of the ninth inning, and he worked around a pair of baserunners for his 24th save of the season. The right-hander is as elite as it gets at closer, going 24-for-27 on save opportunities in 2024, while he has now converted his last 11 chances. On the season, Clase owns a microscopic 0.72 ERA and 0.64 WHIP with 38 strikeouts over 37.1 innings in 38 appearances out of Cleveland's bullpen. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:01 pm
    • Covers 2.1 innings in rehab outing
Ray (elbow) struck out two and allowed no runs on one hit and one walk over 2.1 innings in his rehab appearance Sunday for Triple-A Sacramento.

Advice: Ray was one of three rehabbing Giants pitchers to take the bump for Sacramento on Sunday, with the lefty and Austin Warren (elbow) working behind starter Blake Snell (groin). Before moving up to Sacramento, Ray made four rehab starts in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, covering seven total innings while striking out 15 and allowing four runs on seven hits and no walks. Though his 2.1-inning appearance Sunday didn't represent a notable uptick in his workload, Ray still finished with 45 pitches (30 strikes) and turned in another clean outing. Ray looks to be building up for a starting role as he gears up for a return from Tommy John surgery, but he'll still likely need to get stretched out to around 75 pitches before the Giants are comfortable bringing him back from the 60-day injured list. Ray likely won't be a rotation option until after the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:22 pm

    • Will throw from mound this week
Williams (back) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday in Milwaukee, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Williams is poised for the next big milestone in his recovery from multiple stress fractures in his back, which have kept him sidelined him for the entirety of the 2024 campaign to this point. If the 29-year-old can avoid any setbacks, he remains on track to return to the Brewers bullpen in late July, likely after the All-Star break. Williams will likely need to complete multiple bullpen sessions before advancing to facing hitters and then heading out on what will likely be a lengthy minor-league rehab assignment. • Emmanuel Clase grabs 24th save
Emmanuel Clase nailed down the save on Sunday against the Blue Jays after giving up a walk and a hit. He also struck out a batter.

Advice: Clase came in for his fourth outing in five days and earned yet another save. He’s allowed just three earned runs in 37 1/3 innings of work this season and his 24 saves trail only Ryan Helsley. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:35 pm
