    • Heyward, Hernández fuel seven-run Dodgers comeback
Teoscar Hernández hit a three-run homer in the top of the ninth to propel the Dodgers to an 11-9 win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: The Dodgers also got a grand slam from Jason Heyward in scoring seven runs in the ninth. Hernández very well could have struck out to the game on the pitch prior to his homer, but he was given a reprieve by Lance Barksdale on a very close check-swing call. It was Hernández’s 18th homer of the year. He’s sixth in MLB with 54 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:20 pm
    • Evan Phillips retires one batter for 11th save
Evan Phillips notched a one-out save against the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: The Dodgers initially brought in Alex Vesia for the ninth tonight, but they turned to Phillips after Nolan Jones walked with two outs. Philips responded with a strikeout of Hunter Goodman, giving him his 11th save. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:20 pm
    • Improves to 6-5
Miller (6-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Guardians, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: It was another solid outing from Miller, who's now allowed just two earned runs over 12.2 innings in his last two starts. While he's been inconsistent at times this year, the 25-year-old Miller has turned in a respectable 3.46 ERA with a 1.01 WHIP and 82:26 K:BB across 15 starts (88.1 innings). Miller will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently lined up for this weekend in Miami. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:49 pm
    • Bryce Miller survives in win over Guardians
Bryce Miller allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits in 5 2/3 innings in a win over the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Miller walked two and struck out two on the day. He had just six whiffs on 43 swings on the day, leading to a 14 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW on the day. The only pitch Miller recorded a whiff on all day was his fastball with his other pitches getting zero whiffs on 16 combined swings. The 25-year-old has a solid 3.46 ERA on the year, but the secondaries have yet to develop in a way that gives us confidence in his swing-and-miss upside this season. He remains a solid fantasy option and should be in for a good start against the Marlins this weekend, but it may take a pitch mix change to unlock the strikeouts that will give him a higher fantasy ceiling. • Nick Lodolo tremendous in win over PIT
Nick Lodolo allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: The left-hander struck out eight and didn’t walk a single batter on the day. He got 18 whiffs on 50 swings for a 36 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW on the day. He did a good job keeping his fastball upstairs and the curve low in the zone, which led to a 57 percent whiff rate on the curve alone. Lodolo has always showcased high upside but injuries have gotten in his way; yet, he now has a 2.76 ERA on the year with a good start against these same Pirates next week. • Wilyer Abreu (ankle) starts rehab assignment
Wilyer Abreu (ankle) will start a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Worcester.

Advice: It’ll likely be a quick tune-up for Abreu as he works his way back from a sprained ankle that sent him to the shelf back on June 4. The 24-year-old corner outfielder will likely return to Boston by the end of the week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:14 pm

    • Yordan Alvarez out Tuesday due to family matter
Yordan Alvarez is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the White Sox due to a family matter.

Advice: The positive news here for fantasy managers is that Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters Alvarez could return as early as Wednesday. The 26-year-old slugger, who boasts a stellar .873 OPS with 14 homers and a career-high three steals this season through 71 games, is getting his first off day since May 18. • Dealing with family matter
Alvarez (personal) is absent from the Astros' lineup Tuesday versus the White Sox due to a family matter, according to manager Joe Espada, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Advice: Alvarez was set to take a seat for the first time since May 17, but it is now understood to be a result of a personal matter regarding his family. Espada said Tuesday that it's possible Alvarez is back with the team Wednesday, but his status appears to be day-to-day for the time being. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:32 pm

    • Yankees transfer Clarke Schmidt to 60-day IL
Yankees transferred RHP Clarke Schmidt to the 60-dau injured list.

Advice: Nothing has changed regarding Schmidt’s return timetable as the procedural move merely opens up a spot on New York’s 40-man roster. The 28-year-old righty has been on the shelf since late May recovering from a right lat strain and is first-eligible to return on July 26. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:16 pm
