    • Throwing live BP Monday
Gallen (hamstring) is expected to throw a live batting practice session Monday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Advice: It was reported last week that Gallen would throw a simulated game early this week, but it looks like he'll throw a live BP session instead. If all goes well, the right-hander could be activated in time for the series against Oakland that begins Friday. Gallen has thrown one sim game already followed by a pair of bullpen sessions. • Drives in three runs
Diaz went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's victory against the Orioles.

Advice: Diaz knocked an RBI single in the first inning and later brought home two more runs with a pair of sacrifice flies. After hitting .200 in May, the 25-year-old has gone 18-for-57 (.316) in 15 June contests. Diaz owns a .704 OPS with 37 RBI and 31 runs scored in 67 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:29 pm
    • Yainer Diaz has three hits, three RBI in win
Yainer Diaz went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored in a win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: All three of Diaz’s hits were singles, but one of them drove in a run and then he tacked on two more RBI with two sacrifice flies. It hasn’t quite been the breakout season that many expected for the catcher, but he is hitting .264/.292/.412 with 37 RBIs which is contributing more than enough for you from the catcher position. • Ben Rice with two hits in loss
Ben Rice went 2-for-3 on Sunday against the Braves.

Advice: Rice has been totally fine in his first week of play with a .294 average and the same number of walks as strikeouts. He’s yet to find his first extra-base hit yet but does not seem over-matched by major league pitching. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:07 pm
    • Jurickson Profar back in lineup Sunday vs. Brewers
Jurickson Profar (knee) is back in the lineup for Sunday’s showdown against the Brewers.

Advice: Profar is back in left field and batting second on Sunday afternoon following a brief one-game absence due to left knee patellar tendinitis that flared up during Friday’s contest. The 31-year-old corner outfielder should be able to manage and play through the issue moving forward. He’s been an unexpected revelation this season for San Diego and is making a serious bid for a spot on the senior circuit’s All-Star Game roster. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:56 am
    • In Sunday's lineup
Profar (knee) will start in left field and bat second Sunday versus the Brewers.

Advice: Profar guaranteed he would return to the starting nine Sunday after missing Saturday's 6-4 win, and he has come through on his promise. The 31-year-old has tallied at least one base hit in each of his last six games, going 7-for-24 with three RBI and three runs scored in that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:54 am
    • Sitting against lefty
Winker isn't in the Nationals' lineup for Sunday's game versus Colorado.

Advice: The left-handed bat of Winker will step out of the lineup Sunday as the Nationals prepare to face left-handed starter Kyle Freeland. Ildemaro Vargas will enter to cover left field and bat third while Winker sits. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:42 am
    • Back in lineup Sunday
Rodriguez is starting in center field and batting third in Sunday's game against Miami.

Advice: Rodriguez received a scheduled day off Saturday, but he's back for the series finale Sunday. On the season, he's batting .264/.313/.352 with seven home runs and 29 RBI over 329 plate appearances while stealing 16 bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:32 am
    • Fans eight in fifth win
Jones (5-6) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-3 victory over the Rays, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks over seven innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: The day began in rough fashion for the rookie right-hander, as he hit both Brandon Lowe (toe) and Amed Rosario (face) with pitches, the latter being unable to escape a 99.6 mph fastball up and in. Rosario appeared to avoid a serious injury however, and once play resumed, Jones was able to re-focus and put together his best performance since his 10-strikeout one-hitter against the Rockies on May 4. Through his first 15 big-league starts, Jones sports a 3.66 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 93:25 K:BB through 86 innings. He's scheduled to make his next trip to the mound on the road next weekend in Atlanta.
