    • Vlad Jr. has four RBI in win over Red Sox
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with four RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Vlad Jr. drove in two on a double in the third inning and then drove in two more on another double in the fourth inning. He now has 40 RBI on the season and has been far and away the Blue Jays’ best hitter this season. He also made two bad errors in the field, but that doesn’t count for most fantasy leagues. • M’s lose Bryan Woo to IL with hamstring strain
Mariners placed RHP Bryan Woo on the 15-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Woo has been phenomenal this season for Seattle, registering a microscopic 1.77 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 28/3 K/BB ratio across 40 2/3 innings (eight starts), but has struggled to stay healthy. The 24-year-old righty was lifted from the fourth inning of Monday’s start against the Rays with a right hamstring tightness, and a subsequent MRI revealed a low-grade strain. He’s going to miss at least a couple weeks, even with this being arguably the best-case scenario outcome. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm

    • Lands on IL with strained hamstring
The Mariners placed Woo on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with a right hamstring strain, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

Advice: It's being classified as a low-grade strain, so perhaps Woo has a chance to return when his 15 days are up or shortly after. Emerson Hancock would normally be the obvious candidate to step into the Mariners' rotation in Woo's place, but his status is unclear after he exited his last start at Triple-A Tacoma with lower-back tightness. Jhonathan Diaz, who's struggled at the big-league level this season (5.06 ERA, 1.88 WHIP) but has an 8-1 record and 3.26 ERA at Tacoma, is another candidate. Rotowire.com Today, 1:38 pm

    • Getting day off Tuesday
Hayes is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Hayes had made seven consecutive starts -- going 3-for-25 (.120) at the plate with three RBI during that stretch -- but will give way to Jared Triolo at third base Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 12:47 pm

    • Lifts ninth homer Monday
Garver went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Rays on Monday.

Advice: Garver's seventh-inning, 400-foot shot to left with Dominic Canzone aboard snapped a 1-1 tie and gave the Mariners their final two runs of the night. The round tripper snapped a brief 0-for-12 skid that had encompassed Garver's last three-plus games, and it marked the veteran's fourth time leaving the yard in the last 15 contests. Garver is carrying a forgettable .200 average across his 75 plate appearances in June, but an 18.7 percent walk rate and nine extra-base hits have helped him to an impressive .830 OPS in that same span. • Blows first save of year
Harvey (2-3) took the loss and blew the save in Monday's extra-inning loss to the Padres, coughing up four runs (three earned) on three hits and two walks over two-thirds of an inning.

Advice: The right-hander is having a bumpy June, giving up runs in four of nine appearances en route to a 7.71 ERA, 2.14 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB in 9.1 innings. Monday's blown save was his first of the year though, and Harvey remains the Nationals' top set-up option ahead of closer Kyle Finnegan, having already racked up a career-high 23 holds. Should Washington become sellers at the trade deadline and send Finnegan to a contender, Harvey would almost certainly move into the ninth-inning role. Rotowire.com Today, 7:57 am
    • Hunter Harvey gives up four runs to take loss
Hunter Harvey lost to the Padres after giving up four runs — three earned — in the 10th on Monday.

Advice: The Nationals gave Harvey a three-run lead to work with after Nick Senzel homered in the top of the 10th, but it wasn’t enough. Harvey retired just two of six batters before Jurickson Profar, following an intentional walk to Luis Arraez, delivered a game-winning single. Harvey could become the Nationals’ closer later this summer if Kyle Finnegan is traded, though it’s quite possible that neither or both will be moved. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:20 pm
    • Nathaniel Lowe goes 0-for-4, fans three times
Nathaniel Lowe went 0-for-4 and struck out three times against the Brewers in Monday’s loss.

Advice: Lowe looked like a long-term answer at first base for the Rangers in 2022, but his power production fell off last year and has continued to decline this season, as he’s managed just two homers and three barrels through 228 plate appearances. His .351 OBP is nice, so it seems unlikely that the Rangers will try to upgrade this summer. However, if he fails to step it up, he’s going to be a non-tender candidate this winter. • Stays hot Monday
Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and a double in Monday's 7-6 loss to Boston.

Advice: Guerrero knocked a three-run blast to cap off Toronto's five-run seventh inning. The 471-foot blast traveled clear over the Draft Kings sign above the Green Monster and is the longest of his career. He hit (.235) through 14 games to begin the month but has since gone 12-for-34 (.353) with three homers over his last eight contests. Those three homers have come in his last four games after he hit just three over his previous 39 appearances. Guerrero is slashing .286/.368/.429 with 36 RBI and 23 extra-base hits.
