      Ohtani went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two stolen bases Monday in a 6-3 victory versus Miami.

      Advice: Fresh off being named the National League's Player of the Week after posting an absurd .524/.583/.952 slash line over his previous five games, Ohtani crushed a 441-foot, two-run homer in his first at-bat Monday to open the scoring for Los Angeles. He went on to notch his third straight multi-hit game and added a pair of steals for good measure, giving him four thefts over his past four games. It took Ohtani nine games as a Dodger before he hit his first long ball, but he's since gone deep 11 times -- including four times over his past three games -- to take over the major-league lead in that category. He's also tied for second in the majors with 31 runs, tied for sixth with 27 RBI and leads all of baseball with a 1.139 OPS.       Shohei Ohtani homered while stealing two bases in a 6-3 win over the Marlins on Monday.

      Advice: What is there to say? Ohtani became the first designated hitter for the Dodgers to homer and steal two bases since Eric Young did it back in 1998. End of similarities between Ohtani and Young. The two-way star absolutely blistered a two-run homer in the first for his 11th roundtripper of the year, and he’s already driven in 27 runs.       Urshela (hamstring) could join Triple-A Toledo this week to begin a rehab assignment, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

      Advice: Urshela remained with the Tigers for Monday's series opener in Cleveland and was spotted doing some pregame running on the field in what McCosky describes as a potential final test before the third baseman is cleared for a rehab assignment.     • Hurt by long ball in loss
      Fried (2-1) took the loss Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out seven over seven innings.

      Advice: Fried quickly surrendered a two-run homer to Shohei Ohtani in the opening frame. He was able to settle in thereafter, blanking the Dodgers over the next four innings before Teoscar Hernandez got a hold of one in the sixth to make it a 4-0 ballgame. Sunday was Fried's first outing this year giving up multiple home runs, but he's also gone at least six innings in three straight while striking out at least six in all three appearances.       MLB changed the official scoring on a play during Friday's game, which left Houck charged with three earned runs over six-plus innings, not four, Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

      Shohei Ohtani went 4-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored on Sunday, leading the Dodgers to a 5-1 win over the Braves.

      Advice: This guy is pretty good. Ohtani got things started in the first inning with a 412-foot two-run shot off of Max Fried and then absolutely annihilated a 464-foot solo homer in the eighth inning that left the bat at 110.6 mph.       Max Fried allowed four runs on four hits in seven innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.

      Advice: Fried pitched well enough on the day, striking out seven and walking three while posting a 20 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW. He didn’t have his best command and had a zone rate under 50 percent on the day, but he avoided major damage until giving up a two-run home run to Teoscar Hernandez in the sixth inning.
