    • Eloy Jiménez goes 0-for-4 as slump continues
Eloy Jiménez went 0-for-4 on Sunday, leaving him 7-for-48 over this last 12 games.

Advice: Jiménez seemed to find his stroke in late April, going 13-for-37 with three homers in a nine-game span. Since then, though, he’s batting just .146. It’s not because he’s striking out much; he’s fanned a total of eight times in the 12 games. His exit velocity numbers remain solid, but he’s going to need to be considerably better than this to amass fantasy value with such an awful lineup around him. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:12 pm

    • Homers in second straight
Adell went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Advice: Adell jumped on a hanging slider with two men on in the second and launched it 419 feet for his seventh home run of the season and the third in his last four games. The outfielder has also hit safely in five consecutive contests, racking up six RBI over that stretch to go along with five runs scored. Despite those impressive numbers, Adell is still batting just .176 in May and has recorded multiple hits in only one game this month. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:52 am

    • Jo Adell homers again, Angels rout Royals 9-3
Jo Adell walloped a three-run homer on Saturday, leading the Angels to a decisive 9-3 victory over the Royals.

Advice: Adell homered for the second consecutive contest against Kansas City, taking ace Cole Ragans deep for a 419-foot no-doubter to left field in the second inning. It was his seventh round-tripper of the season and third time he’s gone deep in his last four games. The 25-year-old former top prospect appears to be finally putting it all together at the highest level as vastly improved plate discipline has helped him unlock his immense raw potential. He should be rostered in all fantasy formats at this point. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:29 am

    • Swats homer Friday
Adell went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to Kansas City.

Advice: Adell accounted for the Angels' only run with a 436-foot solo shot to center field. That held up until the ninth inning, when the Royals scored twice off Los Angeles closer Carlos Estevez to emerge with a comeback win. Adell has put together a modest four-game hitting streak, during which he has gone 5-for-15 with two homers and three RBI. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:55 am

    • Jo Adell connects on solo homer in loss to Royals
Jo Adell hit a solo homer in a loss Friday to the Angels.

Advice: Adell’s solo shot off Alec Marsh was the only run for the Angels on the night. It looked like it was going to be enough to give the team a win, but Carlos Estévez blew a save to keep that from happening. Adell is now slugging .529 with six homers, and he’s showing — in spurts — the talent that made him one of the very best prospects in all of baseball not that long ago. Rotoworld Friday, 9:18 pm

    • Nick Castellanos goes deep in victory over Marlins
Nick Castellanos clubbed his third home run of the season on Friday night as the Phillies crushed the Marlins in Miami.

Advice: Castellanos opened the scoring in the contest with his 400-foot (104.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Trevor Rogers in the second inning. That would be his only hit in five at-bats on the night. For the season, the 32-year-old slugger is hitting an underwhelming .207/.268/.303 with just three homers and 13 RBI. • Goes deep Wednesday
Adell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a additional RBI in Wednesday's 5-4 victory versus the Pirates.

Advice: Adell put the Angels on the board with a solo shot to center field in the third inning, and he added a run-scoring single in the fifth. He finished with his first multi-hit game since April 27. With Mike Trout set to miss extended time due to knee surgery, Adell has become a near-everyday starter in the outfield. However, he's struggled so far this month, slashing .125/.185/.250 with seven strikeouts over seven games, though he does have three RBI and a pair of steals. Rotowire.com Thursday, 12:05 pm

    • Goes deep again
De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: De La Cruz produced the only run for the Marlins, tagging Gavin Stone for a solo shot in the fourth inning. The DH has gone yard in three of his last five games, bringing his season total to eight. With Wednesday's homer, De La Cruz's ISO sits at .205, up from .154 last season. • Jo Adell homers, knocks in two to lead Angels
Jo Adell went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI as the Angels edged the Pirates 5-4 on Wednesday.

Advice: Adell, who hit second in three straight games last week, entered in a 1-for-20 slump, so he was back down to eighth in the Angels lineup today. Manager Ron Washington keeps trying to go with the hot hand at the top of the order, but he can’t seem to get the timing right. Adell is batting .259/.311/.506, which is the best line sported by any currently healthy Angels player. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:20 pm
