      Advice: It’s nice seeing Suzuki with eight steals in 10 attempts this season after he was just 6-for-13 last year.       Bailey Ober worked six innings and allowed three runs — one earned — in a victory over the Tigers on Thursday.

      Advice: Ober struck out eight and walked none. He has a 27/3 K/BB ratio in his last three starts and a 100/23 K/BB ratio in 94 innings for the year.       Jonathan India scored three runs while going 3-for-5 with a homer in a victory Thursday over the Yankees.

      Advice: India doubled the Reds’ lead to 2-0 with a solo blast in the third inning off an ineffective Marcus Stroman. He also singled twice while improving his average to .278 with a .383 on-base percentage.       Contreras went 1-for-3 with two walks and a two-run home run in Wednesday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: The 32-year-old catcher tied the game at 3-3 in the eighth inning by taking Colin Holderman deep. It was Contreras' seventh homer of the year but his first in nine games since returning from a fractured forearm, a stretch in which he's batting just .200 (6-for-30). He does have extra-base hits in back-to-back contests after ripping a double Tuesday, however, so he's showing signs of regaining his form at the plate.       Alvarez went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, a walk, three runs and three RBI in a 9-2 victory versus the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

      Advice: Alvarez was a constant thorn in Toronto's side in the contest. He plated Houston's first run with a third-inning double, added a tiebreaking solo shot in the sixth inning and produced another RBI with a double in the eighth.       Rodon allowed three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out eight batters over 5.1 innings in a loss to Cincinnati on Wednesday.

      Advice: Though he logged his fourth straight defeat, this was a bounce-back effort of sorts for Rodon after he surrendered 21 runs (20 earned) over 13.2 innings across his previous three starts. The veteran hurler did, however, continue to struggle with the long ball Wednesday, yielding multiple homers for the third straight outing.       Advice: Bohm was named the National League's All-Star starter at third base earlier in the day, and his performance Wednesday was a good example of what he can do. He's up to 11 homers on the year, with five of them coming over his last 15 games.       Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, two runs scored, and a walk on Wednesday against the Rays.

      Advice: Witt paced the Royals in this one and was the engine for their offense. His third inning double got them on the board and a key walk in the seventh set Salvador Perez up for his huge two-run single to put this game out of reach. Witt remains one of the most productive and dependable players in baseball with a .314/.366/.543 slash line to go along with 13 home runs and 22 stolen bases.
