    • Fernando Tatis Jr. out again Sunday due to injury
Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps, quad) remains out of the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Brewers.

Advice: Tatis will miss his second consecutive contest after being drilled in the left triceps by a pitch during Friday’s showdown at Petco Park. If there’s a positive takeaway here it’s that the 25-year-old fantasy superstar didn’t need to undergo any precautionary imaging and is merely day-to-day with a triceps contusion. He’s also been playing through a lingering quad issue, which might be the more pressing issue at the moment. There should be a decision from San Diego concerning his status at some point early next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:53 am
    • Sitting again Sunday
Tatis (triceps) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Milwaukee.

Advice: Tatis exited Friday's 9-5 win after getting hit in the left arm by a pitch, and he'll now miss his second consecutive start as a result. David Peralta will once again start in right field while Donovan Solano serves as San Diego's designated hitter. According to MLB.com, Padres manager Mike Shildt said Tatis would have been available to pinch hit in Saturday's 6-2 loss if an opportunity presented itself, so the 25-year-old would appear to be day-to-day and could be ready to return to the lineup during the Padres' upcoming three-game series with the Nationals that begins Monday. • Idle versus lefty
Carroll is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Phillies, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Carroll will begin Sunday's game in the dugout with Philadelphia sending southpaw Cristopher Sanchez to the mound. Carroll is slashing .257/.373/.386 with 18 runs and five RBI over 70 at-bats in June. Jake McCarthy will start Sunday's game in center field and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:56 am
    • Reaches 10-homer mark
Goldschmidt went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Goldschmidt is 8-for-26 (.308) with two homers during his six-game hitting streak. He helped the Cardinals keep pace early in this contest before they ran away with the lead at the end. The first baseman has endured a tough campaign with a .230/.300/.364 slash line, 10 homers, 31 RBI, 36 runs scored, three stolen bases and nine doubles over 73 games. • Busy day in loss
Chapman went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base in a 9-4 loss to the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Chapman singled, stole second and scored in the first inning, and then walked and scored again in the third. He later added another single in the eighth. This was Chapman's first multi-hit effort since June 4, but it's encouraging to see him active on the bases considering he missed two games to a hamstring injury June 9 and 10. On the season, the third baseman is hitting .232 with eight home runs, 30 RBI, 47 runs scored and a career-high six stolen bases in 285 at-bats. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:11 pm

    • Out of lineup Saturday
Tatis (triceps) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Milwaukee.

Advice: Tatis was hit by a pitch during Friday's game and was lifted from the contest. He'll remain on the bench to begin Saturday's game while dealing with a bruised triceps. David Peralta will bat sixth and play right field. Rotowire.com Saturday, 1:16 pm
    • Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps) held out of lineup
Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps) was held out of the Padres’ starting lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Brewers.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar was plunked on the left triceps with a pitch during Friday night’s affair against the Brewers. He walked away with only a contusion, but it sounds like he’ll need a day or two before he’s ready to return to the starting lineup. David Peralta will start in his place in right field and bat sixth for the Padres against Carlos Rodriguez and the Brewers. Rotoworld Saturday, 1:10 pm
    • Provides only offense Friday
Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: The first baseman took Carlos Carrasco deep in the fourth inning, but it was all the offense the Blue Jays could muster in a 7-1 loss. Guerrero hadn't gone yard since June 6, and while he continues to scald the ball -- he's in the 99th percentile in average exit velocity and hard-hit rate -- a 5.9 degree average launch angle is costing him power. On the season, he's batting .281 with a career-low .406 SLG, eight homers and 31 RBI in 75 games. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:56 am
    • Drills two homers
Henderson went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI, three runs scored, a stolen base and walk in Friday's loss to the Astros.

Advice: Henderson scored his first run in the third inning after drawing a walk and swiping second base. He then drilled a solo shot in the seventh inning and a two-run blast during the Orioles' seven-run eighth. He's produced back-to-back three-hit performances and has five multi-hit games over his last 11 appearances. Henderson owns a terrific .284/.381/.610 slash line with 43 extra-base hits and 13 steals through 74 games. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:54 am
