      Lugo (10-2) picked up the win over the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over six innings while striking out four.

      Advice: Lugo did a great job of working his way out of trouble for most of the contest, with the exception of the fourth inning when he allowed back-to-back hits to open the frame and also hit Jason Heyward with a pitch before eventually surrendering two runs. The right-hander would allow just two more hits over his final two innings of work, notching his 11th quality start of the season and his first this month.       Eovaldi (3-3) allowed four runs on four hits and four walks while striking out six over three innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Mariners.

      Advice: Eovaldi needed 75 pitches (46 strikes) to get through three innings, and the Rangers weren't able to get him off the hook for the loss. It's possible the Rangers are still taking it easy on him after a groin injury sidelined him for much of May. Eovaldi has allowed nine runs over 18.2 innings across four starts since he returned from the injured list. He's at a 3.15 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 64:24 K:BB through 60 innings over 11 starts this season.       Seth Lugo gave up two runs in six innings to get a win against the Dodgers on Saturday.

      Advice: The victory is already the 10th of the season for Lugo. The right-hander allowed a two-run single to Gavin Lux in the fourth, but outside of that he handled the Dodgers lineup without many issues. He scattered six hits allowed while walking just one and striking out four. Lugo has been excellent in 2024, and it’d be a surprise if he wasn’t an All-Star at this point.     • Nathan Eovaldi goes just three in loss to Mariners
      Nathan Eovaldi lasted just three innings while allowing four runs with six strikeouts in a loss to the Mariners on Saturday.

      Advice: Eovaldi needed 75 pitches to get through the three frames, and the Rangers called it a day for the 34-year-old after he completed that frame. he allowed four walks and allowed four hits, including a two-run homer to Julio Rodríguez. A rare off-night for Eovaldi, who still has a solid 3.15 ERA even with this disappointing — and not disastrous — effort. He’s scheduled to face the Royals next weekend.       Duran (2-2) allowed a walk over two scoreless innings Friday. He struck out one and earned a win over Oakland.

      Advice: Duran kept the Athletics off the board in the ninth and 10th frames as the Twins eventually delivered the walk-off win. He's 2-0 with a hold over his last three outings since coughing up three runs against the Pirates on June 8. The 26-year-old righty has not picked up a save since June 2.     • Johan Duran secures victory against Athletics
      Jhoan Duran picked up his second victory of the season on Friday evening, working two scoreless innings against the Athletics.

      Advice: Duran came on to work the top half of the ninth inning in a tied game and kept the A’s off the board. He then returned for the 10th inning and retired the side in order, setting the stage for Max Kepler’s heroics.       Advice: Romano resumed his throwing program Monday and has already been stretched out to 90 feet. The 31-year-old has been brought along slowly since being placed on the 15-day IL with elbow inflammation and it's unclear if he'll require a rehab assignment at this point.     • Racks up 13 strikeouts Thursday
      Crochet allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out 13 batters over seven innings in a no-decision against Seattle on Thursday.

      Advice: Crochet was absolutely dominant in the outing, inducing 24 swinging strikes and finishing with a career-high 13 punchouts. The only run against the southpaw came via Tyler Locklear's first career homer in the fifth inning, and Crochet was in line for the victory before Michael Kopech blew a save opportunity in the ninth. Despite a few rough starts in April, Crochet has been a revelation for the White Sox and for fantasy managers this season. Over his past nine starts, he's recorded a 1.36 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 76:11 K:BB over 53 innings. Crochet is tied with Tyler Glasnow for the major-league lead with 116 punchouts on the campaign.       Garrett Crochet struck out 13 batters over seven innings of one-run baseball but didn’t pick up a decision Thursday against the Mariners.

      Advice: Crochet was absolutely dominant while taking advantage of a team that strikes out at an enormous rate, so the results are equally impressive and not surprising. He did allow a solo homer to Tyler Locklear, but outside of that and a Victor Robles double, it was smooth sailing for the 24-year-old. The 13 punchouts are a season-high, but this is a hurler who has already fanned 116 batters in just-under 83 innings with a 3.16 ERA.
