    • Blows save, earns win
      Fairbanks (2-3) earned the win Thursday, allowing one run on two hits over two innings against the Twins. He struck out one.

      Advice: Fairbanks was not needed to start the ninth due to the Rays holding a four-run lead, but a leadoff homer followed by the next two runners reaching base necessitated the call to Fairbanks. After inducing a couple of quick outs, Jose Miranda tagged him for a two-out game-tying homer that sent the game to extras. Once the Rays regained the lead in the 10th, Fairbanks stayed on to close out his own victory. The blown save was the second of the season for Fairbanks, who ran the gamut during the series with the Twins, suffering the loss on Tuesday followed by the blown save and subsequent win on Thursday.       Judge went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Thursday's loss to the Orioles.

      Advice: Judge did his best to bring the Yankees back from a large deficit early with a two-run shot in the third and an RBI single in the fifth, but his effort would fall well short as Baltimore's offense exploded for 17 runs. The long ball was the outfielder's 28th of the season, which leads the majors, and he's now recorded at least one RBI in seven of his last 11 games.     • Aaron Judge slugs 27th homer in return to lineup
      Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Thursday in the Yankees’ blowout loss to the Orioles.

      Advice: Judge returned to the Yankees lineup for Thursday afternoon’s showdown against Baltimore after missing only one game with left hand contusion. The home run was his 27th of the season and he’s already up to 67 RBI. Fantasy managers can exhale with the return of one of the best hitters in the game and based on this contest, it doesn’t seem like the hand is bothering him at all.       Sewald allowed one hit and struck out one during a scoreless ninth to collect the save Thursday against the Nationals.

      Advice: Sewald collected his first save in two weeks, having tossed just 1.1 innings over two appearances during that span prior to Thursday. Despite the inactivity, Sewald needed only eight pitches, tossing six for strikes to thwart the Nationals.     • Pete Fairbanks (thumb) blows save, gets victory
      Pete Fairbanks (thumb) blew a save while allowing a run against the Twins on Thursday, but worked two innings to get the victory.

      Advice: Fairbanks entered the game with a couple of runners on and Tampa Bay holding a 6-3 cushion. He was able to get the first two outs, but then gave up a game-tying homer to Jose Miranda to blow the save. He was able to get the final three outs after the Rays scored in the 10th, however, so he gets the win. The right-hander missed a couple of days while dealing with a thumb injury, so the positive is he was back on the mound and does at least get a win.     • Paul Sewald hurls scoreless frame for save
      Paul Sewald allowed a hit and picked up a strikeout in a scoreless inning to get a save against the Nationals on Thursday.

      Advice: Sewald has been sensational since returning from the injured list, and the scoreless inning lowers his ERA to a miniscule 0.71.       Advice: As expected, Arenado is sitting out Thursday’s series opener against the Giants after X-rays came back negative on is left elbow after being hit by a pitch during Wednesday’s game against the Marlins. He had previously said he hoped to return by Saturday, so the Cardinals will continue to give him a couple of days off. Brandon Crawford will start at third base on Thursday and bat seventh.
