    • Bobby Miller to make rehab start Thursday at AAA
Bobby Miller will make another minor league rehab start on Thursday for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Miller will return to Los Angeles if he gets through this latest rehab outing without any issues. The 25-year-old righty has been on the shelf since mid-April due to right shoulder inflammation, but it sounds like he’s really close to making it back. Rotoworld Today, 5:12 pm

    • Alex Cobb (shoulder) throws bullpen on Tuesday
Alex Cobb (shoulder) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday.

Advice: Cobb has dealt with several setbacks in his recovery from offseason hip surgery and is trending towards being ready to return to San Francisco at some point in the early stages of the second half. Rotoworld Today, 5:10 pm

    • Yariel Rodríguez strikes out 10 in rehab outing
Yariel Rodríguez (back) struck out 10 over four shutout innings on Tuesday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Buffalo.

Advice: Rodríguez scattered three hits and one walk, needing an economical 67 pitches (46 strikes) to navigate four frames. The 27-year-old righty has made a handful of rehab appearances so far and figures to be ready to return to Toronto’s pitching mix as a multi-inning relief weapon at some point in the near future. There isn’t a ton of fantasy appeal in that limited role from a volume standpoint, but the strikeouts and ratios should be stellar enough to help out in deeper mixed leagues. Rotoworld Today, 5:07 pm
    • Geared up for another rehab start
Miller (shoulder) will make another rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Miller was effective in his last outing with Oklahoma City, pitching four innings, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two batters Friday. Manager Dave Roberts said that if all goes well Thursday, it'll be Miller's final appearance of his rehab assignment before he'll return to the major-league roster. The 25-year-old has been on the 15-day injured list since April 13 due to right shoulder inflammation, but Miller now appears to be on the doorstep of making his return after two months away from the playing with the Dodgers. • Second rehab start set
Gray (elbow) is scheduled to make a rehab start Friday with Double-A Harrisburg, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The 26-year-old opened his rehab assignment with Single-A Fredericksburg over the weekend and threw 43 pitches across three innings. Gray will continue to build up his workload in the minors, and manager Dave Martinez said up to five rehab starts could be necessary before the right-hander rejoins the Nationals. • Set for bullpen session
Cobb (hip/shoulder) is expected to throw a bullpen session Tuesday in San Francisco, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Cobb has missed the entirety of the 2024 campaign as he's been working his way back from hip surgery as well as soreness in his pitching shoulder. The 36-year-old appears to be on the cusp of taking a substantial step forward in his recovery and if he can string together a couple successful bullpen sessions, a rehab assignment could be on the horizon. Cobb will still likely need multiple weeks to build up his activity before returning to the major-league roster at some point in July, barring any setbacks. Rotowire.com Today, 4:11 pm

    • Zac Gallen (hamstring) throws bullpen on Tuesday
Zac Gallen (hamstring) threw a 31-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday.

Advice: It’s an encouraging development that Gallen has progressed to throwing side sessions after resuming throwing over the weekend without any issues. The 28-year-old workhorse landed on the injured list back in late May with a Grade 1 right hamstring strain and is expected to miss at least a few weeks. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo told reporters Gallen will throw another bullpen session on Friday and will likely need at least one or two simulated games before returning. • Making third rehab start
Silseth (elbow) is making a rehab start with Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday and is expected to pitch about five innings, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Registerreports.

Advice: The right-hander threw 56 pitches over four frames in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League during his second rehab outing last week, and he'll move to the upper minors for his third start. Jose Suarez is making a spot start Tuesday for the Angels, but Silseth could step into that spot in the rotation Sunday in San Francisco with a strong showing with Salt Lake. • Works off mound
Gallen (hamstring) threw a bullpen session Tuesday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Gallen began throwing off flat ground Saturday, and Tuesday marks the first time he's thrown off a mound since landing on the IL with a strained right hamstring. Manager Torey Lovullo said the 28-year-old righty is slated for another bullpen session Friday, after which he will likely progress to pitching sim games before returning to Arizona's rotation.
