    • Matt Chapman (hamstring) expected back Tuesday
Matt Chapman, out Monday for a second straight day with a hamstring issue, is expected back on Tuesday.

Advice: That from manager Bob Melvin. Casey Schmitt is playing third base again tonight. Rotoworld Monday, 5:09 pm
    • Kyle Tucker (shin) off crutches, aiming for Friday
Kyle Tucker is off crutches as he deals with his right shin contusion, and the Astros believe there’s a chance he’ll return from the IL when eligible on Friday.

Advice: No rehab stint here. Tucker hasn’t done any running yet, but he should need only one good day on the field before rejoining Houston’s lineup. Rotoworld Monday, 5:03 pm

    • Out of lineup Monday
Chapman (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Astros, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Chapman will sit for a second straight game due to a hamstring cramp he sustained in Saturday's game against the Rangers. Casey Schmitt will start at the hot corner and bat ninth against Houston right-hander Spencer Arrighetti. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:18 pm
    • Gets breather after big game
Rutschman is out of the lineup for Monday's game in Tampa Bay.

Advice: Rutschman started the first three games of the series at catcher and had been in the lineup for each of the last 10 contests for the Orioles. However, after going 3-for-5 with a grand slam and a career-high six RBI in Sunday's 9-2 win, Rutschman will get a breather Monday as Baltimore goes for the rare four-game sweep. James McCann will pick up the start behind the dish. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:24 pm
    • Adley Rutschman gets a day off on Monday
Adley Rutschman is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Rays.

Advice: It’s just a routine day off for the catcher amid a tremendous season with a .306 average, 13 home runs, and 49 RBI. James McCann will start behind the dish. Rotoworld Monday, 12:19 pm
    • Notches seventh steal
Varsho went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning win over the A's.

Advice: The 27-year-old outfielder has stolen bags in back-to-back games, giving him seven steals on the year. Varsho keeps finding ways to be productive, and through nine games in June he's batting .296 (8-for-27) with three doubles, two triples and six runs scored. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:49 am
    • Swipes eighth bag
Springer went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning win over the A's.

Advice: The veteran outfielder stole his eighth bag of the year but his first since May 15, snapping a 19-game drought on the basepaths. Springer is showing signs of life at the plate as well -- over his last 12 games, he's slashing .268/.400/.439 with two homers, four RBI and 11 runs. He's been consistently hitting lower in the order during that stretch, anywhere from fifth to seventh, and with rookie Spencer Horwitz currently getting a look as a table-setter, Springer likely won't return to a more prominent spot in the lineup any time soon. • Smacks homer Sunday
Santander went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Santander has homered in every other game in June, going 11-for-35 (.314) with five long balls and eight RBI over nine contests this month. It's a continuation of the momentum he found at the plate in late May, though the uptick in power is an added positive. The outfielder is up to 14 homers, 37 RBI, 34 runs scored, 13 doubles and one triple while slashing .227/.306/.480 through 60 contests this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:26 pm

    • Daulton Varsho scores twice as Jays defeat A’s
Daulton Varsho singled, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a pair of runs on Sunday as the Blue Jays rallied to defeat the Athletics in extra innings.

Advice: Varsho led off the eighth inning with a single, was sacrificed to second base, swiped third and then scored the game’s tying run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Davis Schneider. He was then hit by a pitch to load the bases in the 10th inning and raced home on Isiah Kiner-Falefa’s bases-clearing double. For the season, the dynamic 27-year-old outfielder is slashing .217/.306/.453 with 10 homers, 31 RBI and seven stolen bases. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:46 pm
