    • Bobby Witt Jr. drives in Royals only run in loss
Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the A’s on Wednesday.

Advice: After knocking a base hit in the first inning, Witt Jr. drove in the only run of the game for the Royals with a double in the fifth to plate Nelson Velázquez. The 24-year-old shortstop has been one of the top fantasy producers, slashing .323/.372/.545 with 11 homers, 59 runs scored, 52 RBI, and 21 steals across 333 plate appearances. • Blows save, picks up fifth win
Kimbrel (5-2) earned the win and blew a save against the Yankees on Wednesday, allowing one run on two hits with a strikeout in the ninth inning.

Advice: Kimbrel was called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the ninth inning but allowed a leadoff double by Anthony Volpe and a game-tying single by Giancarlo Stanton. He was able to keep the game tied and the Yankees won in the 10th inning to earn Kimbrel the win. Until Wednesday, Kimbrel had not allowed an earned run since May 8 or blown a save since April 28. On the season Kimbrel is now 16-for-20 in save chances and owns a 2.63 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 39:11 K:BB over 27.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm
    • Struggles with command in loss
Gausman (5-6) took the loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Gausman allowed an unearned run in the third inning then surrendered solo home runs in the fourth and fifth. He was pulled after yielding an RBI single with two outs in the sixth and was charged with another run when an inherited runner scored on an RBI single off reliever Tim Mayza. Gausman only generated two swinging strikes on his splitter and has now allowed five or more runs in five of his 15 starts this season. He'll carry a 4.24 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 79:19 K:BB into a potential rematch with the Red Sox next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:52 pm

    • Craig Kimbrel blows save against Yankees
Craig Kimbrel allowed one run on two hits on Wednesday. He struck out one, blew the save, but wound up grabbing the win.

Advice: Kimbrel let the Yankees tie the game after a lead-off double by Anthony Volpe and single by Giancarlo Stanton. This was his fourth blown save while still sporting a 2.63 ERA. Dillon Tate closed this one out for Baltimore in the 10th inning. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:16 pm
    • Kevin Gausman unsteady in loss to Red Sox
Kevin Gausman allowed five runs - four earned - in 5 2/3 innings on Wednesday against the Red Sox. He struck out four and walked three en route to a loss.

Advice: Gausman never looked comfortable in this one. He allowed his first run in the midst of a two-error inning and then labored until being pulled in the sixth inning. He threw far too many fastballs in the heart of the zone and couldn’t get the Red Sox to bite at his splitters. His 4.24 ERA and 79 strikeouts in 80 2/3 innings so far this season have been disappointing. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:12 pm

    • Homers for lone run
Reynolds went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over the Reds.

Advice: Reynolds snapped a scoreless tie with two outs in the eighth inning, launching a Nick Martinez changeup over the centerfield fence to provide the only offense in a 1-0 Pirates win. The 29-year-old Reynolds has been red hot at the plate -- he extended his hit streak to 17 games, going 24-for-70 (.343) with 11 extra-base hits in that span. His slash line is up to .271/.337/.448 on the year with 10 homers, 40 RBI, 30 runs scored and five stolen bases across 332 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:02 pm

    • Goes yard twice in loss
Harper went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Padres.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger supplied all the Phillies' offense on the afternoon, taking Matt Waldron deep in the third inning before pulling a Jeremiah Estrada splitter down the right-field line in the eighth. Harper has caught fire in June, hitting safely in 10 of the last 11 games while batting .372 (16-for-43). The surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .285/.391/.539 with 17 homers, four steals, 45 runs and 48 RBI in 69 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:07 pm

    • Sitting again Wednesday
Wong is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: After making four consecutive starts behind the plate, Wong finds himself on the bench for the second game in a row. Wong still looks to be the Red Sox's No. 1 catcher, but manager Alex Cora may have wanted to reward backup Reese McGuire with another start after he drew two walks in Tuesday's 4-3 win. • Bryce Harper clobbers two solo homers in loss
Bryce Harper launched two solo homers on Wednesday in the Phillies’ loss to the Padres.

Advice: Harper connected on a center-cut sinker from Padres knuckleballer Matt Waldron, clobbering a game-tying no-doubter to left-center field in the third inning. He capped off his 27th career multi-homer performance by taking San Diego reliever Jeremiah Estrada out to right field in the eighth inning. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar is up to 17 round-trippers on the season after notching his first multi-homer effort since a three-homer explosion back on April 2. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:49 pm
