    • Wyatt Langford plates two as Rangers top Royals
Wyatt Langford went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBI on Friday evening as the Rangers triumphed over the Royals.

Advice: Langford got the Rangers on the board in the fourth inning with a game-tying RBI double off of Royals’ right-hander Brady Singer. He then tied the game again in the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. The 22-year-old phenom seems to be coming into his own a bit over the past few weeks and is now slashing .249/.309/.349 on the season to go with two long balls, 26 RBI and seven swipes. • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. homers in loss
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Friday in a loss to the Guardians

Advice: This Blue Jays offense is a disaster. Guerrero’s solo shot was their only glimmer of offense before they loaded the bases in the ninth inning. The home run was Guerrero’s eighth, a very disappointing number as we near the midway point of the season. Rotoworld Today, 6:50 pm
    • Homers, drives in four in win
Martinez went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 11-1 victory over the Cubs.

Advice: Martinez opened the scoring with a three-run home run off Shota Imanaga in the first inning, and he then added an RBI single in the fourth. Martinez went 1-for-10 in a quiet series against the Rangers earlier this week but continued a nice June, as he's now hitting .297 with four home runs and 17 RBI in 64 at-bats. On the season, he owns a .287 average with nine homers and 31 RBI in 178 at-bats. Rotowire.com Today, 3:13 pm

    • J.D. Martinez homers, drives in four in rout
J.D. Martinez delivered a three-run homer and an RBI single Friday as the Mets torched the Cubs 11-1.

Advice: Martinez is 11-for-27 with four homers, three doubles and 12 RBI in his last eight games. His current .870 OPS is practically a match for his career mark of .873, but it’s especially impressive given the current conditions, especially for a Mets hitter. Unfortunately, he’s probably going to lose his streak of five straight All-Star appearances, unless maybe the NL carries a third DH alongside Shohei Ohtani and Marcell Ozuna. • Nolan Jones (illness) returns to lineup on Friday
Nolan Jones (illness) returned to the Rockies’ starting lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Nationals.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder missed each of the team’s previous two games due to illness, but he’s right back out there in left field on Friday night. Jones will bat sixth against DJ Herz and the Nationals on Friday evening at Coors Field. Rotoworld Today, 1:45 pm

    • Back from illness
Jones (illness) will start in left field and bat sixth in Friday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Jones missed two contests because he was under the weather, but he'll give it a go Friday. The 26-year-old is 5-for-14 with a 2:8 K:BB over six games since returning from the injured list. Rotowire.com Today, 12:43 pm

    • Cranks homer Thursday
Santander went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and a walk in Thursday's 17-5 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Santander has gone 8-for-25 (.320) with five homers and 11 RBI over his last six games. The outfielder is up to 19 homers on the year, with 10 of them coming in June. He's slashing .230/.304/.502 on the year while adding 48 RBI, 42 runs scored and 13 doubles over 70 contests. Santander has finished below a .260 batting average in each of the previous three seasons, so it's not unusual for him to make most of his impact with power. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:11 pm
    • Santander belts 19th home run Thursday
Anthony Santander went 2-for-5 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: Santander’s home run was his 19th of the season. He’s hit a ridiculous 10 home runs in 19 games in June. Santander’s hitting .230 with a .806 OPS and 48 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:36 pm
    • Jasson Domínguez out two months with oblique strain
According to Yankees manager Aaron Boone, Jasson Domínguez will miss up to eight weeks with an oblique strain.

Advice: We knew an oblique strain would keep Domínguez out for at least a couple weeks, but this is an extensive period of time and one that could threaten his ability to contribute big-league at-bats this season. If Domínguez doesn’t return to minor league action until late August and then gets a couple of weeks to get his timing back at Triple-A, it would be September even before the Yankees can think about promoting him. If all goes well, he could be a candidate for a mid-September call-up, but the Yankees would then be thrusting him into a major role in the middle of a pennant race after missing a major chunk of time. It’s a shame because he was looking great after Tommy John surgery, hitting .356/.404/.609 with six homers and 13 RBIs in 23 games across three levels. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:05 pm
