      Cole Ragans allowed two runs with seven strikeouts over six innings in a loss to the Athletics on Wednesday.

      Advice: Ragans worked around three hits through two scoreless innings before the A’s brought a pair of runs in to score on two walks and two singles in the third. Ragans settled in to toss three more scoreless innings, striking out seven before his day was done. He took the loss as the Royals scored just one run in the contest.       Advice: Miller missed over two months with a shoulder injury, and making his return at Coors Field was always going to be a tough task. The 25-year-old right-hander has a 6.00 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 20:9 K:BB over 18 innings through four starts this season. He threw far too many fastballs in the heart of the zone and couldn’t get the Red Sox to bite at his splitters.
