    • Swipes 12th bag Wednesday
Garcia went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 8-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: The 24-year-old put together his fourth multi-hit performance in the last five contests as he extended his hitting streak to 10 games. Garcia is batting .364 (16-for-44) over that stretch, boosting his slash line on the season to .266/.311/.429 with five homers, 12 steals, 30 runs and 32 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:47 pm
    • Getting breather Wednesday
Kim is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Though double-play partner Xander Bogaerts will be in store for a long-term absence after he was diagnosed Wednesday with a fractured shoulder, Kim's absence from the lineup appears to be little more than a maintenance day. Tyler Wade will cover shortstop in Kim's stead. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:52 pm

    • Raps out four hits
Garcia went 4-for-5 with two triples, one RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Garcia showcased his speed Tuesday with the pair of triples. The third baseman has gone 14-for-39 (.359) during his nine-game hitting streak, and he's added three steals, eight RBI and nine runs scored in that span. For the season, the leadoff hitter is slashing .263/.308/.429 with five home runs, 32 RBI, 28 runs scored and 11 stolen bases across 48 games. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:20 pm
    • Shows power and speed in win
Kim went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk, a steal and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Kim's first hit of the night was a base hit in the fourth, during which he stole second and came around to score on a double from Fernando Tatis. Kim then destroyed a 393-foot blast to center field in the seventh to extend the lead to 9-0. Kim now has just two stolen bases since April 23 and has yet to reach double digits this year after being seventh in baseball in 2023 with 38 thefts. He's still struggling to make consistent contact, as he's slashing just .212/.325/.370 with six homers, 22 RBI, 24 runs and a 27:34 BB:K in 195 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:04 am

    • Doubles twice, steals base
Garcia went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored and a steal in Sunday's win over Oakland.

Advice: Garcia doubled and scored in the first inning and knocked an RBI double in the fifth. He's gone 12-for-40 (.300) with six extra-base hits and eight RBI over his last nine games. On the year, Garcia's slash line is up to .249/.294/.402 with 11 stolen bases, 18 extra-base hits and 30 RBI through 46 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:58 pm
    • Ha-Seong Kim has jack and a bag in win on Sunday
Ha-Seong Kim homered, swiped a base, walked and scored a pair of runs on Sunday night, leading the Padres in a 9-1 shellacking of the Braves in Atlanta.

Advice: Kim led off the fourth inning with a single off of Bryce Elder, swiped second base and scored on a two-run double off the bat of Fernando Tatis Jr. He then walloped a 393-foot (100.7 mph EV) solo shot off of Ray Kerr in the seventh inning that extended the Padres’ lead to 9-0. The dynamic 28-year-old is now hitting .213/.326/.372 on the season to go along with six homers, 22 RBI and nine stolen bases. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:05 pm

    • Maikel Garcia doubles twice, steals base in win
Maikel Garcia went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base on Sunday against the A’s.

Advice: Garcia has turned it on of late with hits in 19 of his last 21 games. The stolen base was also his 11th of the season, good for sixth most in the league. His strong contact quality and swing decisions point to his hot run continuing. Hitting ahead of Bobby Witt Jr. helps too. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:39 pm
    • Lifts three-run homer
Garcia went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Garcia went deep as part of a five-run sixth inning that put the Royals in full control. The third baseman has hit safely in five straight games, adding two steals and four RBI in that span despite going a meager 5-for-22 (.227). Garcia's been held hitless in just three of 14 games in May, so he's still putting together decent at-bats despite not producing big numbers. The 24-year-old is slashing .238/.286/.381 with five homers, 28 RBI, 21 runs scored and 10 steals through 44 contests overall. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:26 pm
    • Maikel Garcia getting a night off on Wednesday
Maikel Garcia is absent from the Royals’ starting lineup for Wednesday evening’s matchup against the Mariners.

Advice: The 24-year-old infielder has been scuffling a bit at the plate as of late, so perhaps a day off to clear his head will do him some good. On the season, he’s slashing .239/.288/.369 with four homers, 25 RBI and 10 stolen bases through his first 43 games. Adam Frazier will start at the hot corner and hit leadoff against Bryan Woo and the Mariners on Wednesday night in Seattle. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:00 pm
