    • Megill gives up four runs in no-decision Saturday
Tylor Megill allowed four runs in 5 1/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Megill gave up five hits, walked three and struck out six. He pitched well enough to win and looked like he was going to before the Mets bullpen blew a late lead. Megill has a 5.08 ERA on the season, but he’s pitched better than that as his xFIP is 3.92. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals on the road next week.

    • Ragans allows five runs in loss Saturday
Cole Ragans allowed five runs in 4 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: Ragans gave up six hits, walked one and struck out six. This start broke a streak of five consecutive quality starts for Ragans. He has a 3.33 ERA and 3.11 xFIP on the year. The 26-year-old left-hander is set to face the Rockies on the road next week.

    • Bibee picks up seventh win against Royals Saturday
Tanner Bibee allowed two runs in six innings and got the win in the Guardians’ 7-2 victory over the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Bibee gave up four hits, walked none and struck out three. The win was his seventh of the season and third in a row. It wasn’t a big strikeout game for Bibee, just another solid outing. He has a 3.47 ERA and 3.29 xFIP on the year. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Giants at home next week.

    • Civale solid in loss to Nationals Saturday
Aaron Civale allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Civale gave up six hits, walked four and struck out two. CJ Abrams homered to start the game, but Civale was pretty solid after that. He’s actually been quite a bit better than his 5.07 ERA on the season suggests given his 4.06 xFIP. Civale could be a decent buy low candidate. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rangers on the road next week.

    • Tyler Mahle (elbow) ready for rehab assignment
Tyler Mahle (elbow) will begin a minor league rehab assignment next week.

Advice: The 29-year-old hurler is working his way back from Tommy John surgery and will likely need at least three starts in the minor leagues before he’s an option to join the Rangers’ rotation. If all goes according to plan, Mahle could be ready to make his 2024 season debut shortly after the All-Star break. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:41 pm

    • Jake Bloss (shoulder) throwing bullpen on Sunday
Jake Bloss (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Sunday.

Advice: Bloss resumed throwing earlier this week and figures to be ready to return from the injured list at some point in early July. The 23-year-old rookie landed on the injured list last week with right shoulder inflammation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:32 am

    • Triston McKenzie pulled in third against Royals
Triston McKenzie gave up five runs in 2 1/3 innings Friday in a loss to the Royals.

Advice: McKenzie issued the first intentional walk of his career to Bobby Witt Jr. in the third, though it was one of those in which the pitcher got to a 3-0 count and then put him on. The Royals went on to score three times afterwards, though things were probably trending in that direction anyway. McKenzie’s velocity has climbed some since the start of the year, but his results have been dreadful lately; he’s pitched just 7 2/3 innings and given up 12 earned runs and 11 walks in his last three starts. • Roughed up in loss
McKenzie (3-5) took the loss Friday in Kansas City, allowing five runs on five hits and three walks over 2.1 innings with three strikeouts.

Advice: The Cleveland right-hander closed out a tough month with this performance, failing to pitch past the third inning for the third consecutive start. Over five June starts, McKenzie posted a 9.33 ERA, 2.13 WHIP and 19:15 K:BB across 18.1 innings. The 26-year-old is currently scheduled to face the White Sox at home in his next outing. • Added to roster
The Cardinals selected Graceffo's contract from Triple-A Memphis on Friday.

Advice: Graceffo has posted a 3.84 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 70:29 K:BB across 75 frames with Memphis this season. All 14 of his appearances have been starts, and while it's possible he'll get a look in the rotation eventually with the Cardinals, the plan for now is to break him in as a reliever. Graceffo will be making his major-league debut when he gets into a game. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:20 pm
