Tobias Myers dominates again in win over Padres
Tobias Myers picked up his fourth consecutive victory on Sunday, limiting the Padres to just one run on five hits over his five innings of work.
Advice: The 25-year-old hurler struck out three batters on the afternoon and didn’t issue a free pass. The lone tally against him came on a two-out RBI single by Luis Arraez in the fifth inning, then Myers punched out Jurickson Profar to end that threat. He got seven swings and misses on 78 pitches in the ballgame, registering a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he carries a 3.12 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and a 45/16 K/BB ratio (52 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Cubs in Milwaukee.
