    • Yelich drives in five with five hits vs. White Sox
Christian Yelich went 5-for-6, drove in five runs and stole a base in a 12-5 win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: The Brew Crew were able to pick up 23 hits and six walks against the overmatched White Sox. Yelich was responsible for nearly a quarter of those, and two of them were double, giving him six on the season. The steal was the eighth, and Yelich continues to impress when on the field in 2024 with a .325/.406/.564 slash. It’s fun to see a the MVP version of Yelich thus far. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago

    • Not in Friday's lineup
De La Cruz is absent from the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: De La Cruz will receive a day off after going 0-for-12 with five strikeouts in the Marlins' last series in San Diego. Josh Bell will be the designated hitter in this one while Jake Burger plays first base. Rotowire.com Today, 11:36 am

    • Rips three-bagger in loss
Bleday went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run in a loss to the Rays on Wednesday.

Advice: Bleday ripped his third three-bagger of the campaign as part of his third multi-hit effort in the last nine games. The 26-year-old also has eight extra-base hits during that stretch, helping lead to a 1.036 OPS alongside matching 12.2 percent walk and strikeout rates across 41 plate appearances. • Aiming to return Tuesday
Rays manager Kevin Cash said Thursday that Lowe (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham this weekend and hopes to be activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday versus the Marlins, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Advice: Last week, Lowe made his second trip to the IL this season with a right oblique strain. The strain was deemed mild, allowing him to resume baseball activities ahead of this weekend's rehab assignment. If Lowe does indeed return Tuesday, he will have missed just a little more than the minimum 10 days. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:23 am

    • Josh Lowe could return to Rays lineup on Tuesday
Josh Lowe (oblique) will play for Triple-A Durham this weekend as he nears a return.

Advice: The plan is for Lowe to play all weekend with Durham and, if all feels good, he could return to the Tampa Bay lineup on Tuesday against the Marlins. Lowe has now had three setbacks this season with his oblique, but the last imaging he had showed no major issues and both he and the Rays have expressed optimism that he will return next week. • Ends power drought
Yelich went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Yelich's last homer was was April 10. He dealt with a back injury that kept him out of the lineup for nearly a month, and his power was the last part of his game to return. The outfielder has gone 20-for-69 (.290) over 18 contests since he returned from the injured list, though he's logged just six extra-base hits in that span. For the season, Yelich is slashing .306/.390/.546 with six homers, 22 RBI, 19 runs scored, seven stolen bases, four doubles and two triples over 29 contests. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:44 pm

    • Three hits in loss
Castro went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-1 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Castro was in a bit of a slump -- he went 0-for-12 over the previous four games before this multi-hit effort. He had a hot stretch in late April and early May, but he's otherwise been little more than league-average at the plate. The 27-year-old is slashing .258/.332/.419 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 27 runs scored, seven stolen bases, 12 doubles and three triples through 55 games this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:01 pm

    • Christian Yelich homers, drives in three Wednesday
Christian Yelich went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, three RBI, and two runs scored on Wednesday against the Cubs.

Advice: After going hitless in his last two games, Yelich put the Brewers on the board in the first inning with a two-run blast off Shota Imanaga. It was the first extra-base hit Imanaga has allowed to a left-handed batter. Yelich later knocked a base hit in the third and scored on a double by Gary Sánchez. The 29-year-old outfielder is hitting an outstanding .306/.390/.546 with six homers, 22 RBI, and seven steals across 124 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:20 pm

    • Willi Castro with three hits in loss
Willi Castro went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a loss to the Royals on Wednesday night.

Advice: The Twins struggled to sustain offense against Seth Lugo and the Royals’ bullpen as Castro was the only member of the lineup with multiple hits. He hadn’t recorded a base knock in four games and has a .258 batting average with four home runs and seven stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:16 pm
