      Advice: The 23-year-old center fielder snapped a 20-game homer drought by taking Jameson Taillon deep in the fourth inning, kicking off a six-run frame that blew the game wide open. Harris is just one of a number of Atlanta hitters who have had sluggish starts to the season -- Tuesday's long ball was his first extra-base hit of any kind since April 26 -- but he may be heating up, as he has five hits and two walks in the last four games, lifting his slash line on the year to .260/.305/.390.       Civale came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Red Sox, giving up three runs on five hits over five innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.

      Advice: The right-hander kept Boston off the board his first time through the order, but a two-run double by Dominic Smith in the fourth inning and a solo shot by Ceddanne Rafaela in the fifth sent Civale packing after 76 pitches (53 strikes). He's failed to last more than five innings in any of his last five starts, a stretch in which he's stumbled to an 8.87 ERA and 1.71 WHIP, and his rotation spot could be in jeopardy if he doesn't turn things around by the time Ryan Pepiot (leg) and Shane Baz (elbow) are ready to rejoin the team.       Naylor went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, two walks and a stolen base during Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Naylor took part in the Guardian's six-run second inning, plating Tyler Freeman and Andres Gimenez with a three-run blast. He also swiped his third bag of the campaign and boosted his walk rate to 10.4 percent. The 27-year-old has gone yard five times in his last 10 games and is batting .286 during that stretch.       Puk earned the save Tuesday against the Tigers, delivering a scoreless 10th inning in a 1-0 victory.

      Advice: After the Marlins finally opened the scoring in the top of the 10th inning, Puk induced three straight flyouts in the bottom half to strand the free runner at second and earn his first save in his second appearance out of the bullpen this season. Puk spent three weeks on the IL with shoulder fatigue after struggling mightily to a 9.22 ERA in four chances as a starter. The 29-year-old left-hander certainly had more success out of the bullpen last season, when he pitched to a 3.97 ERA with 15 saves in 56.2 innings.     • Collects win Tuesday
      Hader (2-3) allowed a walk and struck out three over two scoreless and hitless innings to earn the extra-inning win over the Athletics on Tuesday.

      Advice: After starter Ronel Blanco was ejected for the alleged use of a foreign substance, this became a bit of a bullpen game for the Astros as they looked to protect a 1-0 lead. Ryan Pressly couldn't maintain the lead in the eighth inning, but Hader pitched well in the ninth and 10th, and he got the win after Victor Caratini delivered a walk-off hit as a pinch hitter. Hader's active 4.1-inning scoreless streak is his longest of the season. He's now at a 4.74 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 30:9 K:BB with five saves in six chances over 19 innings this season.     • Josh Naylor’s 3-run homer leads Guardians to win
      Josh Naylor went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Naylor capped off a six-run second inning for the Guardians when he smacked a three-run homer off Jack Leiter to give the Guardians a 6-1 lead. Naylor has now homered four times this month and has hit 12 on the season while also driving in 33 runs. He’s pacing toward a career year if he can continue his strong start. He’s cooled off a bit, slashing .239/.352/.587 this month, but continues to be an imposing threat in the middle of the order.

    • Civale doesn’t miss bats in no-decision vs BOS
      Aaron Civale allowed three runs on five hits in five innings in a no-decision against the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: Civale also struck out six and walked nobody on the night. However, he did allow seven hard-hit baseballs, including a home run to Ceddanne Rafaela, and posted a minuscule five percent walk rate. Yes, Civale got just two whiffs on 37 swings all evening. It’s hard to get overly excited about the strikeouts when he’s unable to get swings and misses. Overall, the season has been a disappointment for Civale. The right-hander has a 5.83 ERA and is not longer much more than a streamer at this point. It’s hard to trust him against the Blue Jays this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:29 pm

      Michael Harris II went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in a win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

      Advice: Harris hit a solo shot off of Jameson Taillon in the fourth inning that traveled 426 feet and left the bat at 106.7 mph. It was his fourth home run and 15th RBI of the season. The 23-year-old is one of quite a few Braves hitters who aren’t living up to their typical production early in the season.     • A.J. Puk earns save in win over Tigers
      A.J. Puk pitched a scoreless 10th inning to earn his first save of the year in a 1-0 win over the Tigers.

      Advice: He’s back! After Puk was a disaster as a starting pitcher to begin the year, the Marlins transitioned him back to the bullpen while he was on a rehab assignment and then immediately thrust him into high-leverage outings. Tanner Scott did pitch the ninth in a tie game on Tuesday, but he also allowed one hit and walked one which has been par for the course for him this year. For his part, Puk allowed three soft fly outs to strand the extra runner in the bottom of the tenth inning and secure the save.
