    • Kyle Finnegan nets 13th save on Tuesday
Kyle Finnegan tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday against the White Sox to collect his 13th save of the season.

Advice: Finnegan’s streak of 11 consecutive hitless innings came to a close when he gave up a one-out single to Andrew Benintendi. Yet, he managed to scatter a pair of hits in the frame, thanks to a couple ground outs and a strikeout of Nicky Lopez to end the contest, preserving a three-run lead in the opening contest of Tuesday’s doubleheader. He’s converted 13 of 14 save chances this season to go along with a 1.56 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 17/8 K/BB ratio across 17 1/3 innings (18 appearances). He’s been one of the best closers in baseball for fantasy purposes so far. Rotoworld Today, 4:29 pm
    • Francisco Lindor goes 0-for-4 in loss to Phillies
Francisco Lindor went 0-for-4 against the Phillies in Tuesday’s loss.

Advice: Lindor has had some big games these last few weeks, but the consistency still isn’t there at all; this is the third time in four games and the 19th time in 40 starts this season that he’s gone without a hit. He’s at .204/.272/.383 overall. Rotoworld Today, 1:11 pm

    • Two straight blown saves
Ginkel allowed two runs on two hits and a walk over one inning, picking up a blown save in Monday's 6-5 win over Cincinnati.

Advice: Ginkel failed to hold an eighth-inning lead for a second consecutive appearance. He's allowed runs in three of the last four outings, all since he slid back from closer to a setup role. Rotowire.com Today, 3:36 am

    • Falls to Mariners
Singer (3-2) took the loss against Seattle on Monday, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out six batters over five innings.

Advice: Singer came into Monday having allowed exactly one run in three straight starts, but he couldn't keep that momentum going. The right-hander yielded four runs across the second and third frames, marking just the second time this season he's given up that many runs over an entire game. Singer still has a strong 2.84 ERA and 1.11 WHIP through nine starts on the campaign, and he's tossed at least five frames in each of his outings thus far. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:28 pm
    • Explodes for two homers, four RBI
Bregman went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs, a double, four total RBI, three total runs and a walk in a 9-2 victory against the Athletics on Monday.

Advice: Bregman came into Monday looking like a shell of his former power-hitting self with just one long ball through 159 plate appearances, but he brought back reminders of his 41-homer 2019 campaign with a pair of solo blasts in the victory. The third baseman capped the big performance with a two-run double in the eighth inning, giving him a season-high four RBI and his second three-hit effort of the campaign. Bregman could be in the midst of turning around what had previously looked like a tepid season, as he's on a five-game hitting streak during which he's gone 8-for-20 (.400 average) with four extra-base hits and six RBI. • Brady Singer struggles in loss to Mariners
Brady Singer was charged for four runs over five innings while picking up a loss Monday to the Mariners.

Advice: Singer was in constant trouble Monday, as he allowed nine hits with one walk against six strikeouts. He gave up a long homer to Luke Raley in the second, and two more runs were surrendered by the right-hander in the third. Singer has been solid for the overwhelming majority of 2024, but this wasn’t his night. A good chance to rebound comes Sunday against the Athletics, assuming the rotation order doesn’t change. • Semien picks up double Monday
Marcus Semien went 1-for-4 with a double as the Rangers were shutout in the loss to the Guardians on Monday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Rangers offense. While it was ruled a double, Semien’s hit was definitely misplayed by Guardians outfielder Estevan Florial. Semien’s hitting .284 this season and continues to hit leadoff and play everyday for one of the best lineups in all of baseball. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:51 pm
    • Struggles in blown save
Diaz blew the save Monday against Philadelphia, allowing two runs on two hits, two walks and a hit batter. He had one strikeout over one inning.

Advice: Diaz looked extremely unsettled Monday night, issuing his first free passes since April 20, ending a streak of eight walk-free innings. Even more indicative of his unsteady control, the Mets closer allowed the tying run to score by beaning Alec Bohm with the bases loaded. Despite the ugly outing Monday, Diaz is cemented as the Mets closer with his ERA standing at 3.24 over 16.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:11 pm

    • Contreras records three hits Monday
William Contreras went 3-for-5 with a run scored in the Brewers’ loss to the Pirates on Monday.

Advice: All three of Contreras’ hits were singles. He continues to hit as his average is up to .354 on the season. Contreras’ .426 BABIP this season is high even for him, a career .348 BABIP hitter. He’s a hitting machine right now, but this level of batting average shouldn’t be expected to continue for the rest of the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:11 pm
