    • Brenton Doyle collects seventh homer, 19th steal
Brenton Doyle went 2-for-4 with a homer and a steal versus the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Doyle came into the night batting .235/.258/.284 in June and was one more bad game away seeing his OPS drop below .700, so this helps a bunch. He still shouldn’t be batting at the top of the Rockies order right now, but for as long it continues, he’ll be worth playing in mixed leagues, especially when the Rockies are at home. • Cracks homer, swipes bag in loss
Doyle went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a steal in Friday's 5-3 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: The 26-year-old gave Colorado a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning when he launched a 426-foot, two-run homer off Drew Thorpe. Doyle later bagged his team-leading 19th stolen base, marking his fifth straight success since last being caught June 5. Perhaps this performance will spur a hot streak for Doyle , as he entered the game hitting .235 (19-for-81) with just two extra-base hits -- one homer and one double -- across 22 games in June. • Doubles twice, steals in win
Young went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a run scored and a stolen base in a 3-1 loss to the Rays on Friday.

Advice: The 24-year-old doubled in the third inning and again in the seventh. He then stole third and scored on an errant throw by Rays catcher Alex Jackson. Since June 21, Young has four multi-hit efforts and nine runs scored in seven contests. On the season, he is hitting .272 with one home run, 18 RBI, 40 runs scored and 19 steals in 240 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:30 pm

    • Jacob Young has two hits, swipe in loss to Rays
Jacob Young went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, a run scored and a stolen base as the Nationals fell to the Rays on Friday evening in Tampa Bay.

Advice: Young basically created a run with his legs in the seventh inning, smacking a two-out double, stealing third base and then trotting home as catcher overthrew the third baseman trying to cut him down. That would be the only run that the Nationals would muster in the ballgame. With his two-hit effort, Young is now hitting .272/.329/.341 with one homer, 18 RBI and 19 swipes on the season. • Getting day off
Arozarena is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Arozarena will get his first true day off of June on Tuesday, with Josh Lowe filling in at DH while Jonny DeLuca plays left field. Arozarena has generated a hit in nine of his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:34 pm
    • Ends drought on basepaths
Young went 0-for-3 with a run scored and his 18th stolen base of the season in Monday's extra-inning loss to the Padres.

Advice: The center fielder was hit by a pitch to lead off the fifth inning, stole third base after a CJ Abrams infield single, then trotted home on a Joey Meneses knock. Young had racked up seven hits over the prior three games, and through 20 games in June he's slashing .262/.314/.354; however, Monday's steal was surprisingly his first of the month in three attempts. • Seven-game hitting streak
Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a double Friday against the Pirates.

Advice: Arozarena extended his hitting streak to seven games, two of which have been multi-hit efforts. He's hitting .391 in that span while tallying two homers, six RBI, five runs scored and three stolen bases. With this stretch, Arozarena has raised his average to .191 -- his highest mark since April 14. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:24 am
    • Doubles twice, scores three runs
Young went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three runs scored in Friday's victory against Colorado.

Advice: Young doubled and scored in both the third and sixth innings while also crossing home in the fourth. He's been very all-or-nothing this month; Young has four multi-hit performances in 17 games but has totaled just three hits in the other 13 games combined. This inconsistent run has lowered his season slash line to .263/.319/.328 with 11 extra-base hits and 17 steals through 64 games. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:01 pm
