    • Rengifo has triple and RBI vs Rangers
Luis Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, and an RBI in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Rengifo returned this weekend after being on the IL with an illness and was right back to the top of the batting order, which is good news for his fantasy value. His RBI triple in the seventh inning helped to pad the lead and his walk earlier in the game set him up for a stolen base attempt. While he was thrown out, the fact that he continues to lead off and run makes him a solid bet in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Today, 2:38 pm

    • Seiya Suzuki drives in run in loss to Pirates
Seiya Suzuki walked, drove in a run and scored a run on Sunday afternoon as the Cubs fell to the Pirates in their series finale in Chicago.

Advice: Suzuki got the Cubs on the board in the third inning as he plated Mike Tauchman with a sacrifice fly. He was then hit by a pitch in the sixth inning, advanced to third on a double by Cody Bellinger and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Christopher Morel. On the season, the 29-year-old outfielder is now hitting .267/.337/.456 with four homers, 16 RBI and one stolen base on the season. Rotoworld Today, 2:07 pm

    • Jameson Taillon allows three runs in loss to Bucs
Jameson Taillon wasn’t at his best in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Pirates, giving up three runs on six hits across 4 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander struck out four batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of walks. He served up a solo homer to Jack Suwinski in the second inning, then kept the Pirates at bay until Nick Gonzales smacked a two-run single in the fifth inning that scored a pair of runners that Taillon had left on base. The 32-year-old hurler got eight swings and misses on 92 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a stellar 2.20 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 22/10 K/BB ratio (32 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Cardinals in St. Louis. • Craig Kimbrel perfect in return to closer’s role
Getting a chance to close for the first time since May 8, Craig Kimbrel struck out two in a perfect ninth Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: This was truly easing him back into the closer’s role; not only did he have a three-run lead, but he was getting the bottom third of the Mariners lineup. Kimbrel has allowed just one batter to reach in four scoreless innings since his May 8 outing knocked him out of the closer’s role for a spell. He’ll likely be the primary guy for now, though it’d be best if he could go a couple of more weeks without any miscues. Rotoworld Today, 1:54 pm

    • Should swing soon
Riley is out of the lineup against the Padres but hasn't had any issues with his intercostal injury Sunday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Riley hasn't seen the field since May 12 due to intercostal inflammation but appears to be progressing in his recovery, and he could soon resume taking swings. The 27-year-old may be able to avoid a stint on the injured list but still seems to be at a couple days away from rejoining the lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 1:33 pm

    • Austin Riley (side) feeling much improved Sunday
Austin Riley (side) felt much improved on Sunday and is expected to begin swinging a bat soon.

Advice: For the first time since suffering the injury, Riley didn’t feel anything in his side on Sunday. He’ll now start to ramp back up with the hope that he’ll be able to rejoin the Braves’ lineup in a couple of days. Zack Short will continue to handle the hot corner in his absence. • Still sidelined Sunday
Riley (side) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Advice: The 27-year-old said Saturday that he's feeling better, but he's still absent from the lineup for a fifth straight game due to left side inflammation. A trip to the injured list has yet to be discussed for the third baseman, but that could change if Riley doesn't show more improvement soon. Zack Short will receive another start at the hot corner Sunday for Atlanta. Rotowire.com Today, 12:18 pm

    • Riley, d’Arnaud remain out against Padres
Austin Riley (side) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Padres.

Advice: As expected, Riley will miss a sixth straight games as he deals with left side inflammation. The infielder is considered day-to-day, but his next chance to get in the lineup won’t come until next week. Zack Short will start while he rests. Rotoworld Today, 12:05 pm

    • Dominant in first win
Buehler (1-1) earned the win over the Reds on Saturday, striking out seven over six shutout innings while allowing three hits.

Advice: Buehler looked like his old self for the first time since returning from the injured list, allowing just one single over the first four innings and one extra-base hit on the night while posting a season-high seven strikeouts. The right-hander hadn't gone more than four innings in either of his previous two starts to open the campaign and had also allowed at least one home run in each of those outings. However, Buehler might have found his groove Saturday, as he managed to get through six frames on just 78 pitches while also allowing just three hits, which marked a season low.
