    • Up to 55 pitches
Miller (shoulder) gave up three earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four over three innings Sunday in his first rehab start for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.

Advice: Miller's lack of effectiveness prevented him from building up much from the 51-pitch simulated game he logged Tuesday, as he threw only 55 pitches (38 strikes) in his first rehab start. It's unclear how many more rehab outings he will need, but Miller will certainly make at least one more start in the minors before rejoining the big-league rotation. • Bobby Miller goes 55 pitches in first rehab start
Bobby Miller (shoulder) threw 55 pitches over three innings in his first minor league rehab start at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday.

Advice: All that really matters is that the right-hander made it through the start healthy and feeling good. The 25-year-old hurler did allow three runs on four hits and a pair of walks in the ballgame while punching out four. He generated 12 swings and misses on the afternoon. He’s likely to need at least two additional rehab starts before he’s ready to return to the Dodgers’ rotation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:11 pm

    • Picks up third win
Bibee (3-1) earned the win over the Angels on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over six innings while striking out six.

Advice: All of the damage against Bibee came in the bottom of the third, when he allowed two of the first four batters to reach before surrendering a three-run blast to Taylor Ward. However, the right-hander was able to work his way out of trouble for the rest of the night while inducing 20 swings and misses. Bibee has now logged back-to-back quality starts and has given up three runs or fewer in six of his last eight outings. Saturday also marked his first win since April 21 against the Athletics (span of six starts). Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:49 am
    • Bibee picks up third win Saturday
Tanner Bibee allowed three runs in six innings and got the win in the Guardians’ 4-3 victory over the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Bibee’s win was his third of the season. He allowed six hits, one walk and struck out six. Bibee got touched up by Taylor Ward for a three-run home run, but otherwise held down the Angels offense for the rest of his outing. His ERA is now 3.99 on the season. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals at home next week.

    • Allows two runs Saturday
Civale allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Civale did a fine job, limiting the damage to a Nelson Velazquez solo shot in the second inning and a Bobby Witt RBI single in the third. This was Civale's eighth straight start without a win, though he's at least managed to complete five innings in each of his last three outings after a run of four starts where he failed to do so. The right-hander has a poor 5.72 ERA with a 1.34 WHIP and 57:15 K:BB over 56.2 innings across 11 starts this season. He's projected for a tough road start in Baltimore his next time out. • Aaron Civale goes five solid in no-decision vs. KC
Aaron Civale worked five innings while allowing two earned runs in a no-decision Saturday against the Royals.

Advice: Civale gave up a solo homer to Nelson Velazquez in the second, and an inning later an RBI single to Bobby Witt Jr. Outside of those frames the right-hander was solid while walking two and striking out five against the quality KC lineup. Civale had been awful in May with a 7.32 ERA for his troubles, but this might be the start that gets the 28-year-old on the right track. A chance to build on this is scheduled for Friday, but it’ll come against the daunting Baltimore lineup. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:29 pm
    • Takes second loss
Glasnow (6-2) was tagged with the loss against the Arizona on Wednesday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out six over five innings.

Advice: Glasnow cruised through the first four innings before allowing three consecutive batters to reach base with one out in the fifth, eventually leading to three runs coming across for Arizona. He would make it through the frame but didn't return for the sixth, marking the second straight start in which he's been unable to make it through at least six innings. The right-hander is now 1-2 in May after going 5-1 in his first six decisions to open the campaign. However, he still sports a healthy 34:5 K:BB through four starts this month. • Tyler Glasnow allows three runs in loss to D-Backs
Tyler Glasnow allowed three runs with six strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Advice: Glasnow had worked around a pair of hits and an error through four scoreless innings before the Diamondbacks got to him in the fifth. A walk and a single put two runners on for Corbin Carroll, who brought both runners in to score on a triple. A wild pitch allowed Carroll to cross home for the third run. Glasnow would complete the frame and was done after five on 95 pitches. He struck out six. The 30-year-old right-hander will take a 3.09 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and an 87/17 K/BB ratio across 67 innings into a start against the Mets in New York on Tuesday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:58 pm

    • Bounces back against Marlins
Peralta (3-3) took the loss Wednesday against Miami, allowing one run on four hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Peralta was locked into a pitcher's duel with Jesus Luzardo, with a leadoff home run by Jazz Chisholm in the first inning being enough to push Peralta into the loss column. Still, fantasy managers saw the dominant version of Peralta that garnered early Cy Young consideration before his ERA ballooned from 1.90 on April 19 to 4.17 before Wednesday's outing. Through the ups and downs, Peralta's strikeout production has maintained, with 71 K's across 56.2 innings on the year. The 28-year-old is lined up to pitch Monday against the Cubs at American Family Field. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:12 pm
