    • Starling Marte hits solo homer in loss against Giants
Starling Marte went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Giants on Saturday.

Advice: Marte sent a solo shot over the left field wall in the second inning to put the Mets on the board for his only hit of the day. The 35-year-old outfielder is having a solid season, hitting .259/.307/.395 with six homers, 26 runs scored, 19 RBI, and eight steals across 200 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:57 pm
    • Clubs 12th homer
Hernandez went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, an additional run, a double and two walks in Friday's loss to Cincinnati.

Advice: Hernandez also reached on a hit-by-pitch, so he got on base in all five of his plate appearances. Both of the outfielder's hits went for extra bases, and his ninth-inning solo homer was his first long ball in 12 games. Hernandez has been a strong addition to the Dodgers' high-octane offense, as he's tied for 10th in the league with 12 homers and ranks seventh with 38 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:44 am
    • Pops fourth homer
Rengifo went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Rengifo opened the scoring by popping a 413-foot solo shot in the bottom of the first. The switch-hitting Angel has been hot since returning from an illness May 17, hitting .300 (9-for-30) with two homers, three steals, four runs scored and five RBI. Overall, Rengifo is slashing .322/.374/.504 in 132 plate appearances while playing every day at second or third base. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:56 pm

    • Luis Rengifo doubles and homers in loss to CLE
Luis Rengifo doubled and homered in a loss Friday to the Angels.

Advice: Rengifo also singled. The 27-year-old took Logan Allen deep in the first inning, and the three-reach game now has his slash looking healthy at .322/.374/.504. Rengifo has been up-and-down for the majority of his MLB career. Right now he’s on the right side of that. There’s reason to believe it won’t last for much longer, respectfully. • Doubles twice in loss
Betts went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a walk in Friday's loss to the Reds.

Advice: Betts led the game off with a single, knocked an RBI double in the second inning and added another double in the fourth. He entered Friday in a small slump, going 4-for-22 (.182) over his previous six contests. Despite the skid, he's hitting .291 through 20 games this month. Betts is slashing .338/.438/.554 with 25 extra-base hits through 240 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:01 pm

    • Teoscar Hernádez homers in loss
Teoscar Hernádez went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, double, two walks, and two runs scored in a loss to the Reds on Friday.

Advice: Hernádez’s ninth inning home run cut the Reds’ lead to three, but to no avail for the Dodgers. The homer was his 12th of the season, just one behind Shohei Ohtani for the team-lead and his two walks raised his walk rate near 9%. That would be the most Hernádez has walked since 2019. He’s chasing far less than he has in years past, too. That and him hitting in the middle of the Dodgers’ potent lineup has made him one of the best run producers in the league so far this season. • Marte back in the lineup on Friday
Starling Marte is back in the Mets’ lineup for Friday’s game against the Giants.

Advice: Marte had the day off when the Mets last played on Wednesday against the Guardians, but came off the bench to pinch hit. He’s back in the lineup batting sixth on Friday. Marte is hitting .260 with five home runs and eight steals in 177 at-bats for New York this year. Rotoworld Friday, 11:57 am
    • Losing out on playing time
Nevin is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: Nevin seems to have lost hold of an everyday role in the Oakland outfield; he's now been on the bench in five consecutive matchups versus right-handed pitching. The 26-year-old should at least continue to see regular starts against left-handed pitching as a platoon mate for the lefty-hitting Seth Brown. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:02 am

    • Heading to bench Wednesday
Rojas is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rangers, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Rojas will receive a breather in the day game after a night game, ending a stretch of five consecutive starts in center field. Cristian Pache will fill in for Rojas in the field and will bat ninth in the series finale. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:09 am
