      Garrett Crochet struck out 13 batters over seven innings of one-run baseball but didn’t pick up a decision Thursday against the Mariners.

      Advice: Crochet was absolutely dominant while taking advantage of a team that strikes out at an enormous rate, so the results are equally impressive and not surprising. He did allow a solo homer to Tyler Locklear, but outside of that and a Victor Robles double, it was smooth sailing for the 24-year-old. The 13 punchouts are a season-high, but this is a hurler who has already fanned 116 batters in just-under 83 innings with a 3.16 ERA.       Lowe went 1-for-1 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored Thursday against the Cubs.

      Advice: Lowe began the game on the bench with lefty Justin Steele on the mound but entered as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning. He made an immediate impact with an RBI single and also tallied his first stolen base of the season.       Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base against the Mets on Thursday.

      Advice: The home run was his 10th and the stolen base was his 13th. He hit a solo shot off Mets reliever Drew Smith in the seventh inning, which gave the Marlins a 2-0 lead. Chisholm is now hitting .254 on the season with 33 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 6:55 pm

      Tanner Scott allowed two runs and blew the save against the Mets on Thursday.

      Advice: Scott came into the ninth inning with a one-run lead on the road. He walked Francisco Lindor before striking out Brandon Nimmo. Then J.D. Martinez got him for a walk-off two-run home run. It was just his second blown save of the season. His last blown save was on April 14th against Atlanta. Scott’s ERA is now 1.93.       Josh Lowe went 1-for-1 with a run scored, an RBI, and a stolen base against the Cubs on Thursday.

      Advice: Lowe was on the bench to begin the game with the Rays facing a left-handed pitcher. The stolen base was his first of the year. He came off the bench and started the scoring for the Rays in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI single. He later stole second and scored what turned out to be the winning run.       Advice: Turner is trending towards making his long-awaited return to Philadelphia’s lineup at some point early next week. It sounds like the 30-year-old shortstop will skip a minor-league rehab assignment, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see him get in a couple at-bats over the weekend prior to returning.
