    • Trea Turner (hamstring) takes ground balls
Trea Turner (hamstring) took ground balls and did some agility drills on the field on Wednesday without any issue.

Advice: Turner told reporters after landing on the injured list in early May that he would miss at least six weeks with his left hamstring strain. He appears to be making excellent progress in his recovery though, and I don’t think it would surprise anyone at this point if he beat that initial estimate. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:08 pm

    • Elias Díaz (hand) remains out of Rockies’ lilneup
Elias Díaz (hand) was held out of the Rockies’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s showdown against the Padres.

Advice: The 33-year-old backstop was pulled from Tuesday’s contest due to left hand soreness and it sounds like it’s still bothering him on Wednesday so he’ll get another breather. Jacob Stallings will start in his place on Wednesday and will bat seventh against Michael King and the Padres. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:00 pm

    • Getting rest in series finale
Garcia is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The White Sox are bringing southpaw Garrett Crochet to the hill for the series finale, so the Nationals will stock up on some extra right-handed bats. The lefty-hitting Garcia will hit the bench after he went 1-for-8 with a walk while starting at second base in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader. Trey Lipscomb will fill in for Garcia at the keystone. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:23 am
    • Sitting Wednesday with sore hand
Diaz exited Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres with left hand soreness and will be held out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale, MLB.com reports. He struck out in his lone plate appearance on the day.

Advice: Diaz exited in the third inning with recurring hand soreness. He's not expected to miss additional time beyond Wednesday's contest, but Jacob Stallings should be behind the dish for Colorado's series finale Wednesday. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:43 am

    • Power trending up
Arozarena went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored Tuesday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Arozarena slugged his eighth home run of the season and fifth in his last 11 games. He's also stolen three bags in that span. While his counting stats have been trending positively, Arozarena has still struck out at a 31.5 percent clip in May, leading to a .205 batting average for the month. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:35 am
    • Homers and doubles in win
Tovar went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: Tovar doubled to lead off a five-run sixth for the Rockies and then homered to kick off the seventh. He continued his recent hot streak at the plate and now has at least a hit in eight straight games, slashing .343/.361/.686 with two homers, five RBI and five runs scored over that span. The 31.1 strikeout rate is a bit alarming, but Tovar continues to hit toward the top of the lineup and is still making solid contact with a .275 average over 180 plate appearances thus far. • Goes deep in win
Benson started in center field and batted leadoff, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-2 win over Arizona.

Advice: Benson delivered the go-ahead knock in the fifth inning, his first home run since April 27. With TJ Friedl (thumb) landing on the injured list, Benson is likely to shift over to center field against right-handers, while Stuart Fairchild rotates in against lefties. Benson's hit the ball hard, per Statcast, but he has little show for it (.193 batting average, .393 slugging). Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:46 am
    • Snaps power drought Tuesday
Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: The 23-year-old center fielder snapped a 20-game homer drought by taking Jameson Taillon deep in the fourth inning, kicking off a six-run frame that blew the game wide open. Harris is just one of a number of Atlanta hitters who has had a sluggish start to the season -- Tuesday's long ball was his first extra-base hit of any kind since April 26 -- but he may be heating up, as he has five hits and two walks over the last four games, lifting his slash line on the year to .260/.305/.390. • Will Benson homers in Reds’ victory
Will Benson hit a two-run homer as the Reds’ leadoff man Tuesday in the win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Benson figured to play less with TJ Friedl back, but he gained an unfortunate reprieve when Friedl suffered a broken thumb. There’s still some fantasy potential here, even though he’s been an obvious disappointment with his .193/.288/.393 line to date. He now has five homers and eight steals in 153 plate appearances.
