• Cedric Mullins goes 0-for-4 before being lifted
Cedric Mullins went 0-for-4 before being lifted for a pinch-hitter Sunday versus the Rays.

Advice: It says a lot that the Orioles hit for Mullins against a righty. The team hoped he was breaking out of his slump a couple of weeks ago, but he’s 1-for-20 with a 7/0 K/BB ratio since May 24, dropping his season line to .181/.225/.319. He’s a tough guy to drop in fantasy leagues, since he can be very valuable when he’s on (he just had six homers and six steals in April), but this is ugly right now. He does have options left, so the Orioles could choose to send him down for a few weeks. Rotoworld Today, 1:47 pm

  • Adolis García homers in win over Marlins
Adolis García went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: García took a sixth-inning offering from Trevor Rogers and hit it 395 feet at 108.2 mph for his 13th home run on the season. He also added an RBI earlier in the game and now has 40 RBI on the year, which has helped prop up a disappointing .231/.285/.462 slash line. As a free-swinger, García has always seemed at risk for batting average regression, and it’s possible he won’t match last year’s .245 batting average, but the power remains a true asset. • Josh Smith has two hits in win over Marlins
Josh Smith went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Smith hasn’t gotten enough credit for the job he’s done since Josh Jung went down. The 26-year-old is hitting .287/.377/.425 with 28 runs scored, 22 RBI, three home runs, and three steals in 57 games. He’s not setting the world on fire, but he has been a really solid regular which has given him value in deeper fantasy formats. Rotoworld Today, 1:37 pm

  • Kyle Isbel leaves game after collision on Sunday
Kyle Isbel was pulled from Sunday afternoon’s game against the Padres with a non-concussive head and neck injury.

Advice: Isbel collided with teammate Bobby Witt and appeared to take a flying knee from the superstar shortstop right to his head. He remained in the game to finish the inning, but they ultimately thought better of it and decided to remove him. It sounds like a day-to-day type of situation, but fantasy managers should be sure to pay attention to his status over the next couple of days. Rotoworld Today, 1:31 pm

  • Trevor Larnach hits sixth homer versus Astros
Trevor Larnach hit a leadoff homer and walked Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Larnach’s two balls in play today were hit 106.9 mph and 105.6 mph, with the latter being a lineout to center. It was an important day for him, as the Twins are going to have drop someone to make room for Royce Lewis on Tuesday and it’s not at all likely to be one of their veteran bench players. Larnach and Jose Miranda have made stronger cases for sticking around than Edouard Julien and Alex Kirilloff. Rotoworld Today, 1:21 pm

  • Will Brennan goes 2-for-3 in loss
Will Brennan went 2-for-3 on Sunday in a loss to the Nationals. He also walked and scored a run.

Advice: While unspectacular, Brennan has found himself in the Guardians’ lineup nearly every game this season. He’s already matched his home run total from 2023 with five, but doesn’t offer much to fantasy managers besides consistent at-bats. Rotoworld Today, 1:10 pm

  • Ildermaro Vargas with two hits, stolen base
Ildermaro Vargas went 2-for-3 scoring a run, driving one in, and stealing a base Sunday in a win over the Guardians.

Advice: Vargas drew his second straight spot-start after CJ Abrams tweaked his shoulder on Friday and had a great all-around game. It’s unlikely his role grows unless Abrams needs a spell on the IL. Rotoworld Today, 1:09 pm

  • Brendan Donovan (neck) remains out vs. Phillies
Brendan Donovan is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: Donovan will miss another game after being scratched from Friday’s lineup with stiffness in his neck. Masyn Winn remains in the leadoff spot, and Alec Burleson gets the start in left field. Rotoworld Today, 12:56 pm

  • Heading to bench Sunday
Bouchard is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Though he's on the bench for the second time in the series, Bouchard has been deployed as the Rockies' primary option in left field following Jordan Beck's (hand) placement on the injured list last Sunday. After getting called up from Triple-A Albuquerque the same day Beck was deactivated, Bouchard started in five of the ensuing six games, going 2-for-14 with a double, three walks, four runs, three RBI and two stolen bases. Hunter Goodman will spell Bouchard in left field Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 12:54 pm
