    • Craig Kimbrel locks down 12th save in win
Craig Kimbrel pitched a scoreless ninth to slam the door on a 4-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: The save was Kimbrel’s 12th on the season and his third this week alone. The 35-year-old scared fantasy managers (and Orioles fans) in early May when he went through a rough patch that had him temporarily removed from the closer’s role. However, this is who Kimbrel is at this point. The veteran now has seven straight scoreless appearances and a 3.15 ERA on the season. He remains a solid closer option in fantasy leagues on one of the best teams in baseball. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:53 pm
    • Locks down 12th save
Kimbrel struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Kimbrel hasn't allowed a walk or a hit over his last 4.2 innings, and he's pitched 6.2 consecutive scoreless innings. He's earned a save in each of his last four outings, retaking the closer role after a shaky stretch in late April and early May saw him take a short stint in lower-leverage assignments. Kimbrel is 12-for-15 in save chances this season while posting a 3.15 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB over 20 innings. He's also collected four holds and a 4-1 record, but it looks like most of his appearances will be in the ninth inning going forward. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:52 pm
    • Picks up fourth save
Sewald earned the save in a win over the Marlins on Saturday, striking out one over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Sewald had no issues running through the bottom of Miami's lineup to secure the save, needing just nine pitches to get the job done. The right-handed reliever remains perfect on the season in save opportunities and hasn't allowed a run since his first relief appearance back on May 7 (spanning six appearances). Sewald has also recorded at least one strikeout in three straight outings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:26 am

    • Sewald records four save against Marlins Saturday
Paul Sewald tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Sewald has allowed one run with seven strikeouts and one walk in seven appearances and converted all four of his save opportunities since coming off the injured list. Fantasy managers that held Sewald since the beginning of the year can’t ask for much more than what they’re getting right now. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:17 pm

    • Escapes with save
Helsley allowed two runs on four hits in one inning but earned the save in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Cubs. He did not walk or strike out a batter.

Advice: Helsley had gone 11 innings without allowing a run, and he hadn't given up multiple hits in an appearance since April 27. Luckily for the Cardinals, they gave him a three-run lead to protect, and that was just enough leeway in this one. Helsley is 16-for-17 in save chances this season with a 1.96 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 24:4 K:BB over 23 innings. His lone blown save came in his season debut, and he remains one of the top closers in baseball despite pitching for a mediocre team. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:01 pm

    • Ryan Helsley closes out Cubs on Saturday night
Ryan Helsley walked the tightrope in the ninth inning on Saturday against the Cubs, but managed to escape with the lead intact to earn his 16th save of the season.

Advice: Helsley took over with a three-run lead to protect, but immediately made things interesting by allowing singles to Dansby Swanson and Nick Madrigal to start the inning. After retiring Ian Happ, he allowed a run-scoring single to Mike Tauchman and a two-out RBI single to Cody Bellinger that made it a one-run game. He battled back though, getting Christopher Morel to bounce into a fielder’s choice to end it. Helsley has now made good on 16 of his first 17 save chances on the season while posting a 1.96 ERA. • Lasts just 4.2 innings
Lopez (2-2) took the loss Saturday in Pittsburgh, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk over just 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Saturday marked the right-hander's shortest outing of the season and also his fewest number of pitches thrown (70) in a start this year. Lopez labored a bit in the third and fourth frames, and Atlanta manager Brian Snitker elected to pull his starter after he yielded a two-out single in the fifth. The righty hasn't won a game since April 16 even as he still holds a 2.43 ERA since that date. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:57 pm

    • Reynaldo López gives up three over 4 2/3 vs. Pirates
Reynaldo López went 4 2/3 innings and gave up three runs — two earned — in a start Saturday against the Pirates.

Advice: Lopez gave up five hits with one walk while striking out three. The right-hander allowed an RBI single in the third, and two more runs scored on a Nick Gonzales double. Even with a shaky outing, the 30-year-old still has a sensational 1.75 ERA on the season. He’s scheduled to fact the Nationals at home Thursday. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:42 pm

    • Craig Kimbrel earns save after near-miss homer
Craig KImbrel picked up his 11th save with a perfect ninth against the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Sort of perfect anyway, given that it took Colton Cowser robbing Tommy Pham of a homer to end the game. Still, even if that ball had managed to get over Cowser’s glove in center, Kimbrel did have another run to play with. It goes as Kimbrel’s sixth straight hitless and walkless appearance.
