    • Launches grand slam
Chisholm reached base three times, going 1-for-3 with a grand slam, two walks and two runs scored during Sunday's loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Chisholm's third blast of the season came off Nationals' starter Patrick Corbin and got the Marlins off to a great start, plating four runs prior to the Nationals recording an out. Chisholm, who entered the game with just two hits in his previous 13 at-bats, ended a 17-game homerless drought with the first-inning bomb. His average now stands at .245 with three home runs, 15 RBI, 12 runs scored and five steals while reaching base at a career-high .342 clip. Rotowire.com Today, 8:07 pm

    • Slump continues
Carroll batted seventh and went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Carroll, who was dropped in the order Wednesday following a day off amid a slump, has hit seventh or eighth over the last four contests. It hasn't helped awake the bat. Carroll is 0-for-13 in those four games and is 1-for-25 with 11 strikeouts over the last seven. He's sitting at .189/.295/.236 with just five RBI over 27 games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:49 pm

    • Bryson Stott homers twice in win over Padres
Bryson Stott crushed a pair of two-run homers on Sunday, powering the Phillies to an 8-6 victory over the Padres.

Advice: Stott opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 395-foot (105.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Michael King in the second inning. He replicated that feat in the fourth inning — this time a 396-foot (103.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of King that gave the Phillies a 4-3 lead. He also grounded into a fielder’s choice in the eighth inning, swiped second base and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Johan Rojas. With the monster day at the dish, the 26-year-old second baseman is now hitting .226/.295/.369 with three homers, 14 RBI and four stolen bases in what has otherwise been a disappointing season. • Jose Altuve hits seventh homer in Astros’ victory
Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk and three runs scored as the Astros topped the Rockies 8-2 in Mexico City on Sunday.

Advice: Altuve’s homer projected at 438 feet, his longest blast since Oct. 7, 2020. He hadn’t hit a ball farther than 404 feet this season, though that hadn’t stopped him from amassing six homers coming into the day. He’s batting .342/.414/.596 in 128 plate appearances. • Goes deep, swipes bag
Altuve went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, three runs scored, a walk and a steal in Sunday's win over Colorado.

Advice: Altuve singled and scored in the first inning after swiping third base. He then drilled a solo shot in the third. The star infielder had been in a short slump recently, going 6-for-30 (.200) with one extra-base hit over his previous seven games. Still, he's sporting a strong .342/.414/.596 slash line with four steals, 15 extra-base hits and 21 runs scored through 28 games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:02 pm

    • Stays hot against Tampa Bay
Jimenez went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Jimenez was able to single and then come around to score on an RBI single by Robbie Grossman in the bottom of the fourth. He later added two more base knocks in the contest, notching his second straight multi-hit performance and his fourth in the last nine games. Over that stretch, Jimenez has batted .351 with three home runs, eight RBI, seven runs scored, three walks and a stolen base over 37 at-bats. Rotowire.com Today, 3:47 pm
    • Jazz homers, drives in four in loss to Nationals
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks, and four RBI in a loss to the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Jazz clobbered a 395-foot grand slam off Patrick Corbin in the first inning at 102.7 mph. It was especially impressive coming off of a left-handed pitcher. While he didn’t get another hit on the day, he did work two walks, which is always nice to see from a young hitter who tends to be a free swinger. Chisholm Jr. is now hitting .245/.342/.382 on the season with three home runs and 15 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 2:36 pm

    • Austin Riley has game-winning hit on Sunday
Austin Riley went 2-for-4 with a game-winning single in a win over the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Riley thought he had a game-winning home run off Emmanuel Clase earlier in the series only to have the ball caught at the warning track, but he left no doubt about this one with a laser of a line drive up the middle to drive in Ronald Acuna Jr., who was the ghost runner to start the 10th inning. That was Riley’s 14th RBI of the season, but the third baseman is hitting just .234/.311/.383 so far. He should find himself in a hot stretch in short order to bring that line back to his normal dominance. Rotoworld Today, 2:05 pm

    • Eloy Jiménez goes 3-for-4 in Rays’ victory
Eloy Jiménez had three singles in four at-bats against the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: It’s his first three-hit game since he had four hits last Aug. 30. He went 6-for-14 with a homer and a double in three-game sweep of the Rays, raising his OPS from .613 to .759. Rotoworld Today, 2:02 pm
