    • Approaching rehab assignment
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Miller (shoulder) is coming up on a minor-league rehab assignment "pretty quickly," Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Miller threw a bullpen session Monday, his second since being placed on the injured list with inflammation in his right shoulder April 13. Roberts noted that the right-hander's velocity was "good" in the session and sounded optimistic about Miller's progress in his recovery from the injury. The second-year hurler will make at least one minor-league rehab start, though it's still unclear how many more bullpens he'll throw before he reaches that point. • Three hits, three RBI
Pasquantino went 3-for-5 with a two-RBI double, a run scored and an additional RBI during Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Pasquantino gave the Royals the lead in the fifth inning, plating Kyle Isbel and Bobby Witt on a double off Colin Rea. He came around to score in that same inning when Salvador Perez notched a double himself. The outing marked Pasquantino's third game this season driving in at least three runs, moving him up to 21 RBI on the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:34 pm
    • Allows three hits in no-decision
Ober didn't factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three hits and one walk over five innings against the Mariners. He struck out seven.

Advice: Although Ober wasn't credited with the win, he allowed three or fewer hits for the fifth time in his last six appearances. Both runs against him came in the second, when Mitch Haniger swatted a leadoff homer and Luis Urias scored from first on a Dylan Moore double. After a hideous eight-run, 1.1-inning start to kick off the regular season, Ober has been outstanding, with a 2.55 ERA and a 34:7 K:BB across 35.1 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to close out a two-start week Sunday at Toronto. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:39 pm

    • Homer, five RBI in victory
Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and five total RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

Advice: Carroll looked back at home in the leadoff spot Tuesday -- after driving in two runs earlier in the game, the 23-year-old outfielder broke the game open with a three-run homer off the left-handed Justin Wilson in the seventh, his second long ball of the year and first since April 9, extending Arizona's lead to 5-0. After a brutal start to the season, it looks like Carroll may be starting to turn things around at the plate -- he now has at least one hit in six of his last seven contests, going 8-for-27 in that span. He's still slashing an uninspiring .211/.300/.278 through 34 games with 15 runs scored, 12 RBI and eight stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm
    • Ober solid but Twins’ bullpen blows lead late
Bailey Ober allowed two earned runs over five innings while striking out seven in Tuesday’s loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Ober allowed two runs in the second, one of which came on a solo homer to Mitch Haniger, but he was largely in control in this one. He walked just one batter to go along with three hits, and he retired the last six batters he faced before turning things over to the bullpen. The Twins’ relievers would go on to allow eight earned runs over four innings to spoil Ober’s perfect outing, as he’ll now look to notch his second win of the month on Sunday against the Blue Jays. • Vinnie Pasquantino collects three hits, three RBI
Vinnie Pasquantino finished 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI versus the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: It seems like it’s too often been a two-man offense for the Royals, but Pasquantino will pick it up. He crushed the ball tonight, hitting four balls over 100 mph. Three of them checked in at 107-108 mph. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:48 pm
    • Stott has two hits, steal in win
Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott picked up two singles to up his triple slash to .245/.339/.377 on the year and also swiped his eighth stolen base. Stott has moved around between second base and shortstop since Trea Turner went down with a hamstring injury, and it’s hard to imagine Stott getting many days off over the next six weeks while Turner is out. The power hasn’t been there this year, but the steals are valuable and Stott should get the opportunity to pick up important counting stats while hitting in a good lineup. • Corbin Carroll homers, drives in five 5 in win
Corbin Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and five RBI in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: This was a much-needed big game for Carroll, who is still slashing just .211/.300/.278 on the season with two home runs and 12 RBI. The home run was well-struck at 104.3 mph off the bat and traveling 390 feet. While that’s great, it was the only ball on the day that Carroll hit over 87 mph. It doesn’t make sense to trade Carroll away while his value is so low, but we’ll need to see more consistent quality contact before we can be sure he’s fully healthy or ready for a hot stretch. However, it is nice to see him back to hitting leadoff, which would be important for his fantasy value. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:29 pm
    • Bobby Miller throws another bullpen session
Bobby Miller (shoulder) threw another bullpen session earlier this week.

Advice: Miller is expected to get in another throwing session later this week before heading out on a minor league rehab assignment. The hard-throwing 25-year-old righty has been out since mid-April due to right shoulder inflammation. It sounds like he’ll be ready to return to the Dodgers’ starting rotation before the end of May.
