    • Makes season debut
Sewald allowed a run on one hit and struck out one over one inning in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

Advice: Sewald made his season debut Tuesday in a non-save situation -- a low-key introduction after spending the first six-plus weeks on the injured list due to an oblique injury. He allowed a home run to Tyler Stephenson while mopping up in the ninth inning. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo told Steve Gilbert of MLB.com that Sewald would reclaim the closer's role from Kevin Ginkel. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago
    • Reynaldo López strikes out 5 vs. Red Sox
Reynaldo López allowed one earned run and six hits over 5 1/3 innings in the Braves’ 4-2 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: López was solid through five innings, but three walks in the sixth – one of which walked in the Red Sox first run of the night – led to him being replaced by Aaron Bummer. He would only be charged with one earned run before the inning finally ended. López scattered six hits across his outing, and pitched his way out of a dicey first inning to leave two runners stranded. López has allowed three runs or fewer in each of his six starts this season, and will look to earn his first win of May on Monday against the Cubs. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm

    • Zach Eflin completes seven in win over White Sox
Zach Eflin yielded one run over seven innings on Tuesday in a win over the White Sox.

Advice: Eflin struck out three and limited a lifeless Chicago offense to just six baserunners over seven frames. He generated only four swinging strikes on 94 pitches and finished with a lackluster 24 percent CSW. It was a nice bounce-back effort after giving up at least three earned runs in each of his previous two outings, including a clunker against the White Sox back on April 26. He’ll bring a solid 3.75 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 39/4 K/BB ratio across 48 innings (eight starts) into a road matchup on Monday against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

    • Luis García Jr. (wrist) in lineup Tuesday vs. O’s
Luis García Jr. (wrist) is in the lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Orioles.

Advice: It’s an extremely encouraging sign that García is healthy and ready to go following an early exit from Sunday’s series finale against the Blue Jays due to left wrist soreness. The 23-year-old former top prospect has gotten off to a phenomenal start this season, batting .337 (33-for-98) with three homers and six steals in 29 contests. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:25 pm
    • Good to go Tuesday
Garcia (wrist) is batting third and playing second base Tuesday against the Orioles, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Garcia won't miss any time after jamming his left wrist during Sunday's game, filling his usual three-hole spot against the right-handed Corbin Burnes. Garcia has generated a hit in 13 of his last 14 games, including a four-hit outing Sunday prior to the injury. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:49 pm
    • D-backs activate Paul Sewald for Tuesday return
Diamondbacks activated RHP Paul Sewald from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Sewald has been sidelined since the beginning of the regular season with a left oblique strain. The 33-year-old veteran, who finished with a 3.12 ERA, 1.15 WHIP with both the Mariners and Diamondbacks last season, will slide back as the D-backs’ closer which puts an end to Kevin Ginkel’s brief stint in the role. • Officially back from injured list
The Diamondbacks reinstated Sewald (oblique) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: The 33-year-old right-hander has been sidelined by an oblique strain but is ready to rejoin the team following three rehab appearances. Manager Torey Lovullo said Tuesday that Sewald will immediately reclaim the closer role, per Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic. Kevin Ginkel -- who has tallied five saves with a 2.57 ERA in 14 appearances -- will return to a setup role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:39 pm
    • On bench against ChiSox
Rosario is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Rosario has been utilized in a near everyday role since Brandon Lowe (oblique) went down but will get the day off Tuesday. Richie Palacios will fill in at second base in place of Rosario. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:05 pm

    • Dealing with sore wrist
Garcia jammed his wrist Sunday sliding into second base and was replaced by pinch hitter Ildemaro Vargas in the eighth inning, but he's not expected to miss much time, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The Nationals had an off day Monday, so Garcia might not end up missing a start, but it wouldn't be a surprise if manager Dave Martinez gave him an extra day to recover. Garcia has had a breakout season so far, slashing .337/.381/.510 with three homers and six steals in 105 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:17 am
