    • Gavin Williams to throw bullpen session
Gavin Williams is set to throw a bullpen session Tuesday for the first time since receiving an injection for his elbow.

Advice: “I watched him play catch yesterday,” manager Stephen Vogt said. “He looks free and easy, so we’re excited.” Williams has been out since the spring after injuring his elbow while throwing a weighted ball. Rotoworld 51 minutes ago

    • Seeing specialist Tuesday
Lowe said following his rehab game Sunday with Triple-A Durham that he felt "something" in his right oblique, and he will visit a specialist Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe started at second base with Durham on Sunday, going 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in the eighth inning and striking out three times. The 29-year-old has has been on the injured list since April 12 with a strained right oblique, and his visit with the specialist Tuesday will reveal whether he has re-aggravated the injury. Lowe is 3-for-10 with three walks, two home runs and seven RBI over four rehab appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 2:40 pm

    • Brandon Lowe seeing specialist after setback
Brandon Lowe will visit a specialist on Tuesday due to continued oblique problems during his rehab assignment.

Advice: Lowe played second base and homered for Triple-A Durham on Sunday, but he’s still not feeling right. It seems safe to say he won’t be coming off the injured list this week. Rotoworld Today, 2:30 pm

    • Undergoing MRI on side
Riley is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs and is slated to undergo an MRI on his injured left side, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Riley was lifted in the bottom of the fourth inning of Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Mets after experiencing left side tightness, which reportedly first surfaced during batting practice earlier that day. While Atlanta remains hopeful that Riley isn't dealing with a long-term injury, more will be known once the MRI results are in later Monday. Zack Short will pick up a start at the hot corner Monday while Riley exits the starting nine for the first time all season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:24 pm

    • Austin Riley undergoes MRI on injured side
Austin Riley is currently undergoing an MRI on his injured right side.

Advice: Everyone was hoping this was a minor tweak, but the MRI probably wouldn’t come so quickly if that was the case. Zack Short is playing third base for the Braves tonight. The team might want to see if it can swing an upgrade there should Riley land on the injured list. Rotoworld Today, 2:14 pm

    • Struggling in May
Reynolds went 0-for-5 with a strikeout Sunday against the Cubs.

Advice: Reynolds has struggled in his last 10 games, collecting only seven hits across 38 at-bats with no home runs and no RBI. He remains locked in as the No. 2 hitter in the Pirates' lineup and has a .267 xBA and .361 xWOBA, so a turnaround in production should be in order. Rotowire.com Today, 7:53 am
    • On base three times in win
Chisholm went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a triple, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's extra-inning win over the Phillies.

Advice: Both extra-base hits came off Zack Wheeler, as the Marlins tagged the Phillies' ace for six runs -- the right-hander's worst start of the season. Chisholm has caught fire over the last week, producing four multi-hit performances in the last seven games and batting .370 (10-for-27) over that stretch with three doubles, a triple, a homer, three steals, three RBI and five runs. • Hoping injury is minor
Riley (side) isn't overly concerned with his long-term availability after being removed early from Sunday's game, and he considers himself day-to-day, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Riley experienced left side tightness in batting practice Sunday and was ultimately removed from Atlanta's contest against the Mets in the fourth inning after going 1-for-2 at the plate. The third baseman doesn't know yet if he'll be sent for an MRI. With the team launching a three-game home series against the Cubs on Monday, there's a chance that Riley misses some, if not all, of the series as Atlanta will likely be cautious with the talented 26-year-old. • Austin Riley (side) hopeful to return this week
Austin Riley (side) told reporters on Sunday night that he’s hopeful to return to the Braves’ starting lineup at some point during the upcoming week.

Advice: Riley initially felt something in his side during batting practice but didn’t say anything. He then felt the discomfort again in the third inning on Sunday night and continued to play through it. Finally in the fifth inning, it was enough of a concern to mention something, which prompted his exit from the ballgame. He’ll probably miss a couple of games as a precautionary measure, but it doesn’t sound like Riley should require a trip to the injured list. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:29 pm
