    • Snares 15th save
Estevez picked up the save Tuesday against Oakland, allowing one hit with two strikeouts across a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Estevez's streak of eight consecutive perfect innings came to an end Tuesday. However, he converted on his ninth straight save attempt and hasn't allowed an earned run since May 20th. While saves have come at a premium for an Angels team that rests 12 games below .500, Estevez has made the most of his opportunity and is on pace for career lows in ERA and WHIP. • Picks up steal
Kwan went 1-for-5 with one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 10-8 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Kwan has let his bat do the talking since he returned from a hamstring injury, going 33-for-75 (.440) over his last 19 contests. Predictably, he hasn't tried his luck much on the bases, going 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts in that span. He's now at a .385/.443/.563 slash line with seven home runs, 24 RBI, 48 runs scored and four steals over 51 contests, and it's safe to assume his speed will remain down given his history of hamstring issues. • Carlos Estévez strikes out two for 15th save
Carlos Estévez struck out two in a scoreless ninth for his 15th save Tuesday against the A’s.

Advice: Estévez came up one batter shy of completing a closer’s perfect game; he’d retired 26 straight over nine outings before giving up a single to Tyler Soderstrom tonight. He then struck out Shea Langerhans to end the game. His ERA has dropped from 5.06 ERA to 3.24 during this nearly perfect stretch. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:38 pm
    • Surrenders four runs
Ryan allowed four runs on six hits and struck out five without walking a batter over six innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Ryan's run of three straight quality starts came to a close, as Arizona got to him early Tuesday. All four runs on his line were surrendered over the first two innings, though he was able to settle down and exit at 86 pitches (58 strikes). This was the fourth time in 2024 that Ryan avoided walking a batter. He's now at a 3.31 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 100:15 K:BB over 98 innings through 16 starts. He's projected to make his next start at Seattle. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:07 pm

    • Clubs leadoff homer in win
Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win versus the White Sox.

Advice: The Dodgers' designated hitter crushed Chris Flexen's fifth pitch of the game 376 feet for a leadoff homer. Ohtani has now batted atop the order eight consecutive games while hitting .419 (13-for-31) with five homers, 14 RBI and 10 runs scored. The Japanese superstar may be on his way to a third MVP campaign as he's slashing .318/.395/.626 with 24 homers, 63 runs scored, 60 RBI and 16 steals over 356 plate appearances this season. • Joe Ryan can’t overcome bad start versus D-backs
Joe Ryan yielded four runs in six innings Tuesday in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: All of the runs came in the first two innings. Ryan excelled afterwards, retiring 14 of the final 15 batters he faced. He struck out five and walked none. Ryan’s next start is likely to come Sunday versus the Mariners. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:17 pm

    • Ohtani homers, pushes RBI streak to nine games
Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Chris Flexen’s fifth pitch of the night turned into a 400-foot homer by Ohtani to kick off the first inning. Ohtani’s homer extended his RBI streak to nine games, which ties the Dodgers’ single-season record. Ohtani would drive in another run in the fourth on an RBI single, as he’s now driven in 16 runs over this nine-game span. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:20 pm

    • Homers again in loss
Harper went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 4-1 loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Advice: Harper provided the only offense for the Phillies, hitting a solo home run off Jason Foley in the ninth inning. It was the slugger's second consecutive day with a home run, and he has now gone a ridiculous 20-for-43 with five homers, 11 RBI and 13 runs scored over a current 10-game hitting streak. On the season, he is hitting .306 with 20 home runs, 57 RBI and 52 runs scored through 278 at-bats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:17 pm

    • Riley Greene leads Tigers to win over Phillies
Riley Greene hit an RBI triple on Tuesday, propelling the Tigers to a 4-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Greene capped off Detroit’s four-run outburst in the fourth inning with a run-scoring triple to right field off Phillies starter Ranger Suárez. It wound up being his lone hit during a low-scoring affair at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park. The 23-year-old former top prospect has managed to stay healthy and finally make the leap to upper-echelon fantasy contributor status this season with an .850 OPS to go along with 50 runs scored, 15 homers, 41 RBI and four steals through 78 contests.
