    • Michael King struggles with command on Tuesday
      Michael King allowed one run on six hits in 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Phillies.

      Advice: The right-hander struck out six but also walked three on the day and needed 100 pitches to get through his 4 2/3 innings. He did induce 12 whiffs on 47 swings for a 27 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW but he also had just a 44 percent zone rate on the night. King has been missing plenty of bats in his first season as a full-time starter, but the consistency hasn’t quite been there.       Phillips picked up the save Sunday against Kansas City, allowing one walk with no strikeouts across a scoreless ninth inning.

      Advice: Phillips corralled his second save since being reinstated from the 15-day IL on May 31, increasing his season total to 10 saves. The 29-year-old hasn't allowed a hit in three of his four appearances in June but was tagged for three runs in a June 6 outing against the Pirates.
