    • Second straight poor start
Glasnow allowed five runs on three hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: All of the damage came in the fourth inning between a Willy Adames RBI single and a Rhys Hoskins grand slam. Glasnow has allowed five runs in back-to-back starts, though he's avoided the loss in both of those outings. For the season, he has a 3.47 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 143:29 K:BB through 109 innings over 18 starts. He's projected to make his next start at Detroit rather than Philadelphia due to the Dodgers inserting Justin Wrobleski into the rotation for a spot start Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm
    • Power ticking up
Suwinski went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk Friday against the Mets.

Advice: Suwinski has had a disappointing season, but he's shown signs of turning things around in a very limited recent sample. Friday's long ball was his eighth of the season, and he now has three extra-base hits across his last four games. Suwinski still has just a .148 ISO and 67 wRC+ for the season, though he's remained in the starting lineup against righties. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:51 pm

    • Glasnow allows grand slam in no-decision vs. MIL
Tyler Glasnow went six innings while surrendering five runs in a start against the Brewers while not qualifying for a decision.

Advice: If you take away one swing, this start looks a heck of a lot better. Glasnow allowed only three hits while striking out seven and walking two, but whenever you give up a grand slam, you’re literally taking away a chance for a quality start. In this case, the bases were jammed and then cleared by Rhys Hoskins to give Milwaukee a 5-2 lead in the fifth. Fortunately for Glasnow and the Dodgers, Los Angeles was able to score six unanswered to get the win. His final start before the All-Star break is scheduled against the Tigers on Friday. • Tagged with loss
Bibee (7-3) yielded four runs on six hits and two walks over 4.2 innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Giants.

Advice: Bibee got off to a brutal start, coughing up three runs in the first inning. He snapped his streak of three consecutive quality starts with his shortest outing since May 8. Bibee went 3-1 with a terrific 40:4 K:BB in five June starts and was 5-1 over his previous 10 outings before Friday's loss. He now owns a 3.67 ERA with a 115:24 K:BB through 98 frames. Bibee's next outing is projected to be in Detroit. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:09 pm

    • Needs another rehab outing
Hall (knee) will make one more rehab start with Triple-A Nashville, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Hall's latest rehab start in Triple-A was cut short after three innings due to a rain delay, preventing him reaching his target number of innings. He'll remain in the minors for another turn through the rotation as a result, lowering his chances of rejoining the Brewers ahead of the All-Star break. It remains unclear whether the 25-year-old southpaw will be added to Milwaukee's rotation or head to the bullpen once he returns. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:21 pm

    • On bench again
Polanco is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Toronto.

Advice: Polanco is absent from the starting nine for a second consecutive game, as Dylan Moore fills second base and bats eighth Friday. Polanco is slashing .195/.284/.292 across 208 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:21 pm

    • Jorge Polanco not in Mariners’ lineup on Friday
Jorge Polanco is not in the Mariners’ starting lineup for Friday night’s tilt against the Blue Jays.

Advice: The 31-year-old second baseman has really struggled since returning from the injured list, hitting just .192/.222/.231 with no homers, one RBI and a 13/0 K/BB ratio over 27 plate appearances. Yikes. Dylan Moore will start in his place at second base on Friday night and will bat eighth against Kevin Gausman and the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:21 pm

    • Set to return Tuesday
Schwarber (groin) is expected to be activated off the injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener against the Dodgers, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Schwarber has been working through drills at 90 percent intensity, per Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia, and the 31-year-old slugger will run the bases Saturday in the last step in his rehab program before he rejoins the team. Schwarber is slashing .250/.373/447 with 17 home runs, 49 RBI and a .820 OPS over 367 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:18 pm

    • On base three times Thursday
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with two walks, an RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's extra-innings loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: He was also caught stealing, giving the center fielder 15 steals in 23 attempts on the season. Chisholm had drawn just one free pass over his prior 13 games, so his display of patience was unexpected and not likely to be repeated any time soon. On the year, 26-year-old is slashing .259/.326/.416 through 84 contests with 10 homers, 37 runs and 40 RBI, and most importantly Chisholm has stayed healthy after missing 167 games across the last two seasons.
