    • Tallies three hits, RBI
Kim went 3-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's loss to Arizona.

Advice: Kim opened the bottom of the fifth with a leadoff double and eventually advanced to third before being left stranded. However, he came right back with hits in each of his next two trips to the plate, driving home Donovan Solano with a double in the eighth to tie the game at 4-4. It marked Kim's second three-hit performance this season and his 13th multi-hit game overall. The second baseman has now hit safely in 11 of his last 14 games, though he's still batting just .222 (4-for-18) through five games in July. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago

    • Fans six in quality start
Waldron did not factor into the decision in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks over six innings while striking out six.

Advice: Waldron allowed Arizona's first run in the second after surrendering a leadoff single to open the frame, along with two walks and a second single - the latter three all coming with two outs. He would then surrender a leadoff homer to Lourdes Gurriel in the fourth and was later charged with a third run after being relieved by Yuki Matsui in the seventh. Waldron has now logged quality starts in seven of his last eight outings, though he's allowed multiple runs in three straight. The right-hander has also issued multiple free passes in five of his last six starts. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago
    • Goes deep again Saturday
Smith went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 5-3 win against Milwaukee.

Advice: After belting three solo homers Friday, Smith smashed a two-run shot in his first at-bat Saturday. Per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, the backstop became the first Dodger to homer in four straight at-bats since Adrian Gonzalez in 2015 and the first major-leaguer to do so since Jose Altuve in September of last season. Smith's two-game power surge has pushed him to 15 long balls on the campaign, tied for third among MLB catchers. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago

    • Strong showing in loss
Gorman went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored in Saturday's 14-6 loss to the Nationals.

Advice: The second baseman banged out the Cardinals' only extra-base hits on the afternoon. Gorman has produced multiple hits in three of five games to begin the month of July, and he appears to be shaking off a brutal slump that saw him slash .083/.151/.155 over the prior 24 games with a bloated 39.8 percent strikeout rate. • Ha-Seong Kim notches three hits, RBI in loss
Ha-Seong Kim went 3-for-5 with a game-tying RBI double on Saturday in the Padres’ extra-inning loss at the hands of the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Kim came through with a clutch game-tying double in the eighth inning off Diamondbacks reliever Ryan Thompson, that wound up eventually sending the contest to extra innings. The 28-year-old infielder has just three homers and four steals over his last 30 games, but he’s already at 10 homers and 17 thefts overall this season through 91 games leading into the All-Star break. • Matt Waldron fans six in no-decision vs. D-backs
Matt Waldron allowed three runs over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Waldron gave up five hits, including a fourth-inning solo shot to Lourdes Gurriel Jr., but managed to turn in another quality start. He struck out six and only handed out a pair of free passes. The 27-year-old knuckleballer was lone gone before this one was eventually decided in an extra-inning marathon. He’ll bring a solid 3.61 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 93/30 K/BB ratio across 99 2/3 innings (18 starts) into his first-half finale on Saturday against the Braves. Rotoworld Today, 3:32 am
    • Short start versus Marlins
Crochet allowed two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five over four innings in a no-decision versus the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Crochet failed to complete five innings for the first time since April 24. He wasn't efficient Saturday, requiring 93 pitches (65 strikes) to get through his four frames, though he did a decent job of limiting the damage. It's a rare misstep for the southpaw, who is now at a 3.08 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 146:23 K:BB over 105.1 innings through 19 starts this season. Crochet is projected to make his next start at home versus the Pirates. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:58 pm

    • Will Smith homers again as Dodgers top Brewers
Will Smith homered again on Saturday, powering the Dodgers to a 5-3 victory over the visiting Brewers.

Advice: After homering in each of his final three at-bats on Friday night, Smith left the yard in his fourth straight at-bat with his 369-foot (101.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Freddy Peralta in the opening inning on Saturday. In doing so, he became just the third player in Dodgers’ history to homer in four straight at-bats, joining Adrian Gonzalez (2015) and Shawn Green (2002). That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night, but it played a significant role in propelling the Dodgers to victory. On the season, the 29-year-old backstop is now slashing .276/.348/.509 with 15 homers and 55 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

    • Padres place Yu Darvish on restricted list
Padres placed RHP Yu Darvish on the restricted list.

Advice: Padres’ manager Mike Shildt told reporters on Saturday that Darvish is dealing with a personal matter involving his family but wouldn’t elaborate. It’s not clear how long he’ll be away from the team for. The 37-year-old hurler is battling elbow inflammation in addition to his strained groin. Once he’s back with the club and ready physically, he’s likely to need at least a couple of rehab starts before he’s ready to return to action. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:29 pm
