    • Dominates Atlanta
Castillo (3-4) earned the win over Atlanta on Tuesday, tossing seven shutout innings while allowing just three hits and a walk. He struck out seven.

Advice: Castillo was dominant once again en route to his third consecutive win. He registered 20 whiffs with 10 of those coming from his fastball and did not give up an extra-base knock. It's safe to say that Castillo is rounding back into ace form. Over his last four starts, he's posted a 1.38 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 31:4 K:BB in 26 innings while allowing a .174 opponent batting average over that span. The 31-year-old will look to keep it rolling in a projected road start against the red-hot Twins next week. Rotowire.com Today, 4:01 am
    • Carlos Estévez gives up two homers in taking loss
Carlos Estévez took his second blown save and a loss after giving up three runs and two homers in the ninth Tuesday against the Mariners.

Advice: The good news for Estévez is that, with Robert Stephenson out for the year and José Soriano in the rotation, he has no competition at the moment. Still, his stuff is definitely down from last year, and he hasn’t shown much improvement there from the beginning of the spring. It’s unlikely that he’ll be replaced right away, but Soriano might eventually supplant him if Chase Silseth rejoins the rotation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:34 pm
    • Luis Castillo blanks Atlanta over seven to get win
Luis Castillo didn’t allow a run in seven innings of work to help the Mariners to a 3-2 win over Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: The Seattle pitching staff has been dominant over the past two weeks, and Castillo kept the run going. The 31-year-old ace allowed just three hits with one walk, and he struck out seven in a game where he wasn’t really challenged. Castillo was disappointing in his first three starts, but he’s been anything but over the last three weeks. He’ll face the Twins in Minnesota next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:47 pm
    • Hits game-tying homer
Castellanos went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Castellanos kicked off a three-run ninth inning for Philadelphia, tagging Angels closer Carlos Estevez for a solo home run to knot the game up at five. After starting the season batting .153 with two runs scored in his first 20 games, Castellanos has started to turn the corner, scoring nine times with a .262 batting average since. • Has nightmare ninth
Estevez (0-1) blew the save and took the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs on three hits with two strikeouts over two-thirds of an inning against Philadelphia.

Advice: Each of the three hits against Estevez went for extra bases, with Nick Castellanos hitting a solo homer and Johan Rojas bringing in Bryson Stott -- who reached on a ground-rule double -- on a two-run homer to give the Phillies the lead. Estevez has now surrendered one or more runs in three of his last four appearances, a stretch that ballooned his ERA from 0.00 to 6.23 and resulted in a pair of blown saves. While his closing job seems to be safe for now, Matt Moore and Luis Garcia would be the names to know if Estevez begins to cede ninth-inning work. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:22 pm
    • Jarren Duran, has three hits, SB in win
Jarren Durran went 3-for-4 with a run, an RBI, and a steal in a 4-0 win over the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: All three of Duran’s hits were singles but each of them was at least 107 mph off the bat. In fact, he had three of the six hardest-hit balls of the game. His stolen base was also his ninth of the season and the lead-off hitter is slashing .268/.338/.386. The power has not been there this year, but if Duran keeps hitting the ball hard and getting on base then he’s going to rack up steals and continue to be useful in fantasy leagues. • Reaches base four times
Duran went 3-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Giants.

Advice: Duran led of the fourth inning with a single and stole his ninth base of the season before trotting home on Wilyer Abreu's triple. Duran has scuffled of late and entered the game batting .150 (6-for-40) over the previous nine contests. His nine thefts lead the Red Sox and are tied for sixth in MLB. • Salvador Perez returns to lineup Tuesday
Salvador Perez (back) returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Perez is back handling the catching duties on Tuesday night in Toronto after being scratched from Monday’s series opener due to back tightness. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:46 pm
    • Masataka Yoshida to undergo testing on left hand
Masataka Yoshida will undergo additional imaging Wednesday on his injured left hand.

Advice: It’s unclear when the injury occurred, but Yoshida is absent from Boston’s lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Giants and might wind up requiring a trip to the injured list. There should be some clarity on his status at some point later this week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:42 pm
