    • Receives Wednesday off
Paredes is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Paredes will exit the lineup for the first time since April 18, ending a stretch of 11 consecutive starts during which he posted an .848 OPS. Curtis Mead will spell Paredes at third base and will bat ninth. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago

    • Three hits vs. Miami
McMahon went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Marlins.

Advice: McMahon got the Rockies on the board with an RBI single in the first inning before driving in a second run with a double in the 10th. The 29-year-old McMahon now has hits in six straight games, going 8-for-23 with two doubles and two home runs in that span, on the heels of a 1-for-14 stretch. His slash line is up to .321/.397/.495 on the season with four homers, 18 RBI and 12 runs scored. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

    • Leaves yard Tuesday
Polanco went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Polanco opened up the scoring with a two-run shot to right off Reynaldo Lopez in the third inning. Polanco had not driven in any runs since he last homered back on April 15. He's now reached base in five straight games, though he has struck out seven times over his last 12 at-bats. It's been a very slow campaign at the dish so far for Polanco, who's now slashing .170/.314/.290 with four homers, 10 RBI, 11 runs and a 20:37 BB:K in 121 plate appearances. • Jorge Polanco hits two-run homer against Atlanta
Jorge Polanco hit a two-run homer in Seattle’s victory over Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: Polanco gave Seattle a 2-0 lead with a homer off Reynaldo López, and it’s the fourth homer of the season for the second baseman. The former Minnesota Twin stalwart has gotten off to a slow start with just a .176 average and .290 slugging mark, but it seems very likely the results will kick into high gear over the next few weeks/months. • Takes loss Tuesday
Alzolay (1-3) allowed three unearned runs on two hits across an inning of work to take the loss Tuesday against the Mets.

Advice: Alzolay should have had a 1-2-3 sixth inning, but a Dansby Swanson throwing error gave the Mets life, and they took advantage. A single and a three-run home run by DJ Stewart quickly broke open a 1-1 tie, and New York hung on for the 4-2 win, which saddled Alzolay with his third loss of the season. While it wasn't all his fault Tuesday, it's been a struggle overall for the righty, as he blew four saves in the early going to get yanked from the closer's role. Hector Neris stepped in to replace Alzolay, and it doesn't look like things are going to change anytime soon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:53 pm

    • McMahon has three hits in loss to Miami
Ryan McMahon went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in a loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: McMahon roped a 100.6 mph double and a 97.5 mph single on the day and continues to swing the bat well this season. He’s slashing .321/.397/.495 on the year and now has 18 RBI. The Rockies lineup may not be great, but McMahon is doing more than enough to warrant being in fantasy lineups every week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:38 pm

    • Idle against lefty
Suwinski isn't starting Tuesday against the Athletics, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Advice: Southpaw Alex Wood will toe the slab Tuesday for the A's, forcing Suwinski's left-handed bat out of the lineup. Edward Olivares will start in right field instead and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:32 pm
    • Fans 10 in no-decision
Miller allowed one run on two hits and one walk while striking out 10 batters over seven innings in a no-decision against Atlanta on Monday.

Advice: Miller racked up 17 whiffs en route to a season-high 10 punchouts while mostly silencing a potent Atlanta offense. However, opposing starter Max Fried was even better with six hitless frames, and Miller actually departed in line for the loss after giving up a run in the seventh. He was taken off the hook, though, when Mitch Garver belted a walk-off homer in the ninth inning. The outing was Miller's fourth quality start over his past five appearances, and he's given up just four earned runs across 30.1 frames during that span. His 2.04 overall ERA ranks 12th among qualified MLB starters. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:41 pm
    • Corbin Carroll settles for lone single in loss
Corbin Carroll contributed a single in four at-bats as the Diamondbacks’ No. 8 hitter on Monday.

Advice: Carroll had two hard-hit balls tonight, including a 408-foot flyout that Statcast said would have been a homer in 17 of 30 ballparks. Power has been the issue for the 23-year-old this season, so this was a pretty good night, even if the box score looks perfectly generic. Rotoworld Monday, 10:41 pm
