    • Takes loss against Guardians
Kopech (2-7) allowed one hit and one earned run across 0.2 innings and took the loss Tuesday against the Guardians.

Advice: Kopech entered the game in the ninth inning with the score tied at 6-6. He allowed a leadoff single and threw a wild pitch to put the runner on third base before allowing a sacrifice fly to bring in the game-winning run for Cleveland. Kopech has each of the White Sox's last two saves and should remain the team's primary closer despite a 4.50 ERA and 1.39 WHIP in 36 innings this season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:03 am
    • Handed tough-luck loss
Singer (4-5) was saddled with the loss Tuesday versus Tampa Bay, allowing one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out four batters in five innings.

Advice: Singer was able to keep the Rays' bats relatively quiet Tuesday, as the only run scored against him came as a result of a wild pitch in the second inning. However, a lack of run support from his offense combined with a collapse of Kansas City's bullpen following a lengthy rain delay will cause the 27-year-old righty to take his third loss in five starts. Singer remains without a win since May 19, but he'll have a good opportunity to get back in the win column over the weekend when he faces Colorado. Rotowire.com Today, 12:37 am
    • Brady Singer pitches well in loss to Rays
Brady Singer pitched well in a losing effort against the Rays on Tuesday night, allowing one run on three hits over his five frames.

Advice: Singer also issued three walks on a rainy evening in Kansas City while punching out four opposing hitters. The only run that scored against him came in the second inning as Richie Palacios scampered home on a wild pitch with two outs in the inning. The 27-year-old right-hander got 15 swings and misses on 88 pitches on the night — 10 of those on his slider — while posting a strong CSW of 32 percent. He’ll try to get back in the win column as he carries a 3.05 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and an 89/29 K/BB ratio (94 1/3 innings) into a tough matchup against the Rockies at Coors Field on Sunday. • Goes deep in loss
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Suzuki went deep with two runners on in the bottom of the ninth inning, bringing the Cubs within two, but the comeback effort came up short. The outfielder now has 11 home runs on the season, including three in his last six games. Suzuki is once again having a solid campaign, and fantasy managers should expect steady production the rest of the way as long as he stays healthy. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:16 pm
    • Seiya Suzuki homers, drives in three vs. Phillies
Seiya Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Phillies.

Advice: After being held to just one run through the first eight innings, the Cubs put three more on the board in the final frame thanks to Suzuki’s three-run bomb that scored Cody Bellinger and Michael Busch. Suzuki now has 11 homers and 34 RBI on the season and has hit safely in five of his last seven games while blasting three homers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:51 pm
    • CJ Abrams has two hits in loss
CJ Abrams went 2-for-5 and was caught stealing in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Abrams has now been caught stealing 10 times on the season, which is an incredibly high total that may prompt the Nationals to work on him being less aggressive on the basepaths. The rest of Abrams’ profile is very fantasy-friendly. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:09 pm

    • Michal Kopech takes loss against Guardians
Michael Kopech allowed one run on one hit in 1/3 of an inning in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Kopech entered the ninth in a tie game and allowed a lead-off single to Andres Gimenez. Gimenez would later move over on a groundout and then a wild pitch allowed him to advance to third where he was driven in by a sac fly off the bat of Bo Naylor. Kopech had allowed just one run in his last six innings and wasn’t particularly bad here, but the wild pitch highlights some of the inconsistency that he brings at the end of games. • Bryan Woo (hamstring) resumes throwing
Bryan Woo (hamstring) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session over the weekend.

Advice: Mariners manager Scott Servais told reporters Woo will throw a more extended side session this week. The 24-year-old righty hit the injured list last week with a right hamstring strain, but the fact that he’s already throwing is a sign that he’s not going to require a lengthy absence. It’s possible he’ll make it back prior to the All-Star break, but the most likely outcome is that he’ll be ready to go shortly afterwards. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:21 pm

    • On base three times in loss
Abrams went 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored in Monday's extra-inning loss to the Mets.

Advice: The streaky leadoff hitter has drawn five free passes over the last three games, and over his last 20 contests Abrams is slashing a blistering .408/.512/.690 with three homers, five steals, 15 RBI and 18 runs. The peaks have outweighed the valleys so far in 2024 for the 23-year-old shortstop -- Abrams' .860 OPS is nearly a 150-point improvement on his .712 mark from last season.
