    • Zac Gallen (hamstring) decision coming this week
Zac Gallen (hamstring) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Thursday.

Advice: Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo told reporters they’ll make a decision on Gallen’s next step following his latest throwing session. The hope here for fantasy managers is that the 28-year-old ace will be ready to jump right back into Arizona’s starting rotation without needing a rehab assignment. There should be a decision on his status at some point later this week. Stay tuned. Rotoworld Today, 5:07 pm

    • A.J. Minter (hip) has rehab moved to Triple-A
A.J. Minter (hip) had his rehab assignment moved to Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Advice: Minter is working his way back from inflammation in his left hip. The 30-year-old will likely make a few appearances with the Stripers before rejoining the Atlanta bullpen near the start of July, assuming no setbacks. Rotoworld Today, 9:13 am

    • Rehab transferred to Triple-A
Minter (hip) had his rehab assignment transferred to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Minter made an appearance with High-A Rome on Saturday, allowing an unearned run and a hit while striking out three batters over an inning on the mound. The left-hander will now take the last step in his recovery from the left hip inflammation that has kept him out since May 30, joining the Triple-A roster. Minter will likely make multiple appearances with Gwinnett before being activated from the 15-day injured list in the near future. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:53 pm

    • Long-tossing from 120 feet
Garcia (elbow) has progressed to long-tossing from 120 feet, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Working his way back from right elbow ulnar neuritis, Garcia would seem close to throwing off a mound if he can continue to progress. He was closing for the Blue Jays before getting hurt a week ago and could eventually get that job back, although Jordan Romano (elbow) and Chad Green will be factors. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:28 pm

    • Throwing live BP on Monday
Gallen (hamstring) is slated to throw a live batting practice session Monday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Gallen threw 52 pitches in a previous simulated game this past Tuesday, so he'll likely increase his workload a bit in Monday's throwing session. If all goes well, the right-hander will likely be activated from the 15-day injured list during the Diamondbacks' series against Oakland that begins Friday. Gallen has been on the shelf since May 30 with a right hamstring strain. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:42 am

    • Collects fourth straight win
Myers (5-2) allowed one run on five hits and struck out three without walking a batter over five innings to earn the win Sunday over the Padres.

Advice: Myers is undefeated in June, going 4-0 with just two runs allowed over 25.1 innings across four starts. The 25-year-old right-hander has a 3.12 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 45:16 K:BB over 52 innings through 11 appearances (10 starts) this season. Sunday was the first time since May 31 that he didn't pitch past the fifth inning -- he exited with 78 pitches (56 strikes). He's tentatively lined up to make his next start at home versus the Cubs. • Tobias Myers dominates again in win over Padres
Tobias Myers picked up his fourth consecutive victory on Sunday, limiting the Padres to just one run on five hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 25-year-old hurler struck out three batters on the afternoon and didn’t issue a free pass. The lone tally against him came on a two-out RBI single by Luis Arraez in the fifth inning, then Myers punched out Jurickson Profar to end that threat. He got seven swings and misses on 78 pitches in the ballgame, registering a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he carries a 3.12 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and a 45/16 K/BB ratio (52 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Cubs in Milwaukee. • Plays catch Saturday
Garcia (elbow) began playing catch Saturday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Garcia took the first step in his recovery Saturday after landing on the injured list June 17 due to right elbow ulnar neuritis. A short stint on the IL would benefit the Blue Jays, especially with Jordan Romano (elbow) having his throwing program halted. Prior to his injury, Garcia held a 2.57 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 37:7 K:BB over 28 innings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:57 am

    • Yimi García (elbow) resumes throwing on Saturday
Yimi García (elbow) resumed throwing on Saturday.

Advice: With Jordan Romano’s throwing program shut down earlier this week due to renewed elbow soreness, it’s imperative that Toronto get García back as quickly as possible, especially if they’re going to stay in the playoff race leading up to the trade deadline. It’ll be Chad Green continuing to close for the Blue Jays, but it doesn’t seem like García is more than a few weeks, if that, away from making it back. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:34 am
