    • Cristian Javier struggles in no-decision
Cristian Javier was removed after giving up four runs and eight hits in four innings Tuesday against the Angels.

Advice: Javier’s stuff was well off tonight; he averaged just 90.4 mph with his fastball, which was down 1.5 mph from his previous average this season. He wound up with just one strikeout and three walks. All things considered, he was lucky to give up just the four runs. Javier said afterwards that the decline in velocity was due to poor mechanics and not anything injury-related, so that’s probably good. He’ll face the Mariners next. Rotoworld Today, 9:03 pm
    • Homer, steal in extra-inning loss
Harris went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Harris started May in a dreadful 0-for-26 slump, but he's snapped out of it by going 10-for-39 (.256) with two homers, two steals, four RBI and three runs scored over his last 10 contests. The outfielder is slashing .250/.289/.378 with five homers, seven steals, 17 RBI and 19 runs scored through 45 games this season. Harris hit over .290 and flirted with 20-20 years in each of his first two big-league campaigns, so there's still another level he can get back to as he rebounds from his slump. • Raps out four hits
Garcia went 4-for-5 with two triples, one RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Garcia showcased his speed Tuesday with the pair of triples. The third baseman has gone 14-for-39 (.359) during his nine-game hitting streak, and he's added three steals, eight RBI and nine runs scored in that span. For the season, the leadoff hitter is slashing .263/.308/.429 with five home runs, 32 RBI, 28 runs scored and 11 stolen bases across 48 games. Rotowire.com Today, 8:20 pm

    • Christian Yelich delivers go-ahead hit vs. Marlins
Christian Yelich delivered a go-ahead two-run triple in the eighth inning on Tuesday, lifting the Brewers to a 7-5 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Yelich came through in the clutch against his former organization by victimizing Marlins lefty A.J. Puk with a two-out triple to right field that put Milwaukee ahead for good in a back-and-forth slugfest. The 32-year-old outfielder is batting .321 (26-for-81) with five homers and six steals through 22 contests. Rotoworld Today, 6:57 pm

    • Running bases
Lewis (quadriceps) ran the bases Monday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Advice: After starting with some light running last week, Lewis was able to run the bases for the first time Monday as he continues to rehab from a right quad strain. It's expected that Lewis will need a rehab assignment before returning, which could push his timetable for return into early June. Rotowire.com Today, 1:42 pm

    • Royce Lewis (quad) making progress in recovery
Royce Lewis (quad) progressed to running the bases on Monday.

Advice: Lewis will be re-evaluated later this week to determine where he’s at in his rehabilitation process from a severe right quad strain that he suffered back on Opening Day. The 24-year-old is getting close to starting a minor league rehab assignment and could return at some point next month, barring any setbacks. Rotoworld Today, 1:35 pm

    • Adolis Garcia (forearm) out again Tuesday vs. PHI
Adolis Garcia is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: There was some talk that Garcia could return Tuesday from his forearm injury, but he’ll be out at least one more game. Derek Hill — who was called up from Triple-A Round Rock prior to the game — will get the start in Garcia’s absence. He should be considered day-to-day at this stage. Rotoworld Today, 12:46 pm

    • Remaining on bench Tuesday
Garcia (forearm) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Philadelphia.

Advice: The 31-year-old was scratched from Sunday's lineup due to right forearm discomfort, but he was cleared of a serious injury when medical imaging came back clean. Garcia will still sit for the second straight game Tuesday, allowing Derek Hill, who had his contract selected from Triple-A Round Rock, to receive a start in right field. • Yainer Diaz does 2-for-4, scores twice in loss
Yainer Diaz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Angels on Monday.

Advice: Diaz was also robbed of a possible homer by Jo Adell at the right field wall in the ninth. That was actually his softest hit ball of the night. His EVs in the game were 110.7 mph, 107.8 mph, 103.7 mph and 98.4 mph. His hard-hit rate now stands at 51%, which is particularly impressive in combination with a 14% strikeout rate.
