    • Sale strikes out 10 in loss to Nationals Friday
Chris Sale allowed two runs in seven innings and took the loss against the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: Sale gave up five hits, walked one and struck out 10. It was an impressive bounce back performance after he allowed eight runs in his last start. Sale has been tremendous at times this season. While he has a 3.01 ERA on the year, his xFIP is even better at 2.43. The 35-year-old left-hander is set to face the Orioles on the road next week. • Irvin throws six scoreless innings in win Friday
Jake Irvin threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Nationals’ 2-1 victory over the Braves on Friday.

Advice: Irvin gave up four hits, walked two and struck out four. The win was his fourth of the season. Irvin has allowed more than two earned runs in only one of his last eight starts. His ERA is down to 3.12 and he has a SO:BB of 64:14 in 75 innings. Irvin has been consistently good this season and it’s mostly supported by a 3.56 xFIP. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Tigers on the road next week. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago

    • Jose Siri smashes sixth home run in loss Friday
Jose Siri went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a walk and a solo home run against the Orioles on Friday.

Advice: The home run was Siri’s sixth of the year. He’s hitting just .197 on the season and can’t be counted on for batting average. Siri his 25 home runs last year, though. He’s one to keep an eye on if he regains that power stroke this season. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

    • Westburg hits 10th home run in win Friday
Jordan Westburg went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Rays on Friday.

Advice: Westburg’s home run was his 10th of the season. He hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning to give the Orioles a 6-3 lead. The 25-year-old third baseman is having a breakout season for Baltimore. His 133 wRC+ is in the top 25 among qualified hitters this year. Rotoworld 19 minutes ago

    • Two triples in win
Perkins went 3-for-4 with a pair of triples, two RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 10-0 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Perkins extended Milwaukee's lead to 3-0 in the second inning with an RBI triple, the first of his career, before driving in another run with his second three-bagger in the fifth. The 27-year-old Perkins has been swinging the bat well -- he's now 13-for-30 (.433) over his last eight games with five extra-base hits and six RBI. Overall, he's slashing .260./332/.398 across 202 plate appearances this year with five homers, 32 runs scored, 21 RBI and six stolen bases. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

    • Rodgers leaves vs. Cards with apparent injury
Brendan Rodgers left Friday’s game with an apparent injury against the Cardinals.

Advice: Rodgers was limping to first base and exited slowly. The Rockies should provide an injury update on the 27-year-old before the end of Friday’s contest. Alan Trejo has replaced Rodgers. Rotoworld 21 minutes ago

    • Santander crushes 13th home run in win Friday
Anthony Santander went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run against the Rays on Friday.

Advice: The home run was Santander’s 13th of the season and came against Rays starter Aaron Civale. While his average is a little lower than he’d like it to be this year at .227, the power is still there for Santander. Rotoworld 23 minutes ago

    • Kimbrel picks up 14th save Friday
Craig Kimbrel tossed a clean ninth inning and picked up the save against the Rays on Friday.

Advice: The save was Kimbrel’s 14th of the season and came on the heels of him taking the loss in his last appearance against the Blue Jays on Wednesday. That wasn’t a save opportunity, though. The 36-year-old right-handed is now 7-for-7 in save opportunities since the end of April. Rotoworld 26 minutes ago
    • Stellar in spot start
Myers (2-2) earned the win Friday against Detroit, allowing just one hit and three walks over eight scoreless innings. He struck out five.

Advice: After he was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, Myers rejoined the Brewers' rotation Friday and delivered a fantastic effort -- he allowed a single to Matt Vierling to lead off the first inning (which was erased on a pickoff) before proceeding to hold the Tigers hitless over his final seven frames. Myers lowered his ERA to 4.15 with a 1.24 WHIP and 32:13 K:BB across 34.2 innings in a swing role with Milwaukee this year. He figures to stick in the rotation for now with Joe Ross (back), Robert Gasser (elbow), Jakob Junis (shoulder) and DL Hall (knee) all on the IL. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago
