      Scott earned a save against the Phillies on Thursday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

      Advice: Scott made quick work of Philadelphia in the ninth frame, retiring the side in order on nine pitches. The lefty closer has not given up a run in any of his past seven outings, tallying a win and three saves despite a mediocre 5:3 K:BB over seven innings during that span.     • India stays red hot with two-hit game Thursday
      Jonathan India went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and an RBI against the Cardinals on Thursday.



      Advice: India started the game with a single and scored on Elly De La Cruz’s RBI triple. In the second inning, he had an RBI double to give the Reds a 2-0 lead. India is now on a nine-game hitting streak and he’s 17-for-33 (.515) in that stretch. In June, he’s 30-for-80 (.375) with 18 runs scored and 14 RBI in 24 games. India’s average is up to .272 on the season with a .771 OPS and 32 RBI.

    • Tanner Scott collects 11th save on Thursday
      Tanner Scott tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday against the Phillies to notch his 11th save of the season.

      Advice: Scott was summoned to protect a three-run lead against the division-rival Phillies and set down the side in order on just nine pitches (six strikes). The 29-year-old lefty has converted 11 of 13 save opportunities to accompany a 1.54 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 36/23 K/BB ratio across 35 innings (34 appearances).     • Burnes picks up ninth win in route Thursday
      Corbin Burnes allowed one run in seven innings and got the win in the Orioles’ 11-2 victory over the Rangers on Monday.



      Advice: Burnes gave up nine hits, walked none and struck out five. The win was his ninth of the year. Burnes was on cruise control in this one. Despite the nine hits, he allowed just one run on a solo home run off the bat of Adolis Garcia. Burnes lowered his ERA to 2.28 in the process. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Mariners on the road next week.

    • Luis Robert homers to give White Sox 1-0 victory
      Luis Robert went 2-for-3 with a homer in a victory over Atlanta on Thursday in the first game of a doubleheader.

      Advice: Robert’s homer was not only the only run Chris Sale allowed and not only the only run for the White Sox, it was the only run scored by either team Thursday. The 26-year-old has homered eight times in his 103 at-bats while driving in 12 runs. Robert Jr. has enormous fantasy potential, but it sure would be nice to see him playing for a team that had a semblance of competence. Rotoworld Thursday, 4:55 pm
       
    • Jake Fraley sitting out Thursday with calf injury
      Jake Fraley (calf) is absent from the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Cardinals.

      Advice: Fraley underwent an MRI on his right calf on Thursday and the club is still awaiting the results. The 29-year-old corner outfielder was scratched from Wednesday’s lineup due to a lower leg contusion. There should be some clarity on his status in the coming days and it wouldn’t be shocking to see him wind up requiring a trip to the injured list. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:19 pm
       
    • Undergoes MRI on calf
      Fraley underwent an MRI on his right calf Thursday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: It's not clear what the result of the exam revealed or if they're in yet, but Fraley will miss a second straight start Thursday after being a late scratch from Wednesday's lineup.     • George Kirby changed his curve grip in last start
      George Kirby debuted a new curveball grip in Tuesday’s start, making the change “on the fly” before the game.

      Advice: Kirby didn’t like how his curveball was performing against right-handed batters this season, so he decided to try a new grip before Tuesday’s start in order to “find something that has a little more depth and [he] can stay on the plate with it.” It seemed to work on Tuesday as Kirby threw just six curveballs but got five swings and two whiffs. The other swings resulted in foul balls and one groundout. Kirby mentioned that it’s a grip he’s used in the past and one he knows Zac Gallen uses. “I throw it a little bit harder, but it just kind of eliminates the horizontal movement, which, especially to righties, I kind of had a hard time with.” After a successful first attempt at the new grip, the modification may stay around, giving Kirby a little more fantasy upside in what is already a good season.       India went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Wednesday's 6-1 loss to Pittsburgh.

      Advice: No one in baseball is hotter than India, who leads MLB with a .571 average and is second in OPS (1.654) over the last seven days.
